I would honestly give this place 2.5 stars. We had a very underwhelming experience and didn’t feel very welcomed/taken care of. Starting off with parking, there is barely any parking in the restaurant lot and the lot next door is limited to certain shops. It was very hard to find parking close by. The check in process was a mess and there was a line out the door. The hostesses were okay and I could tell that they were frazzled/disorganized. We were escorted outside to the Patio and we were seated in an open area (no cover.) It was sprinkling very lightly at the beginning of dinner but we could tell a storm was coming in. After we received our drinks, it started to rain harder. We couldn’t find our server and when we asked if we could move the table, there was no sense of urgency and our appetizers were getting wet. It was annoying and we felt ignored. They finally moved us in which my partner had to help our server move the table and us girls had to move the chairs. It was disappointing as we were nicely dressed and we had to move our own furniture LOL. After we moved, we were under the roof and they closed the shades halfway down. We received our entrees and it was bland, I had to add a lot of salt & pepper. Towards the end of the meal, it started to POUR and they finally put the shades down all the way. However, the rain was seeping through and we were getting wet. We flagged down our server and paid as fast as we could so we could leave. Our server was nice and he was friendly but we didn’t feel like a priority. We didn’t feel welcomed by other staff. When we walked in, as our hostess escorted us to our table, another server walked in through the door when I was walking in and I had to get out of her way because she kept going. They are lacking in customer service, food quality and overall experience for their guests. I think they have a lot to work on.

Mimmo’s is an emotional experience to say the least. This is now my favorite Italian restaurant and I’m a proud Sicilian so that speaks volumes. I met the owner Mimmo and he’s authentic and down-to-earth. The place is beautiful and I feel like I’ve been transported to a pub in Italy that had been updated with a modern and old world industrial vibe. I kept looking around at all the different areas and nooks and kept finding delightful accents. The FOOD…. Is AUTHENTIC and FRESH. When you get an experience like this, you really can’t look at prices. Even though they are on point with the quality and location; I found it very comfortably priced. I haven’t seen such nicely pulled herbs and garnished, you can see the HEART in this food. My Nonna would be proud. I have a video of her leaving another restaurant and she was unhappy they even called themselves an Italian restaurant. I will be bringing her to Mimmo’s Ristorante 30a for a time warp back to the Mediterranean. The Service is personably and highly attentive. Lisa the GM greeted us midway through our meal to ensure everything was to our liking. Mathew the waiter was very attentive to our conversation and didn’t interrupt but returned soon to care for our needs and kept us catered. Mimmo the owner was there and checking on everyone as well, he described dishes with such passion it made choosing the Rack of Lamb easy. The Atmosphere is so nicely put together it qualified IMO as an emotional experience. It really sends you to another place and feels like home all at once. You can really see the love and dedication Mimmo’s wife put into the decor and vibe. Go check them out!

An Italian restaurant on 30A!!! -We learned of this place from 2 YouTube influencers, Lucas & Jacob who had recently eaten there. They are actually pretty funny. My daughters watched one of them who went by the name of Fred long ago. -Parking is a nightmare during peak hours. Good luck as there is an ice cream joint across the street. Yes people wait in line out the door and down the street for ice cream in 30A. -Our late reservation had us sitting on the patio but was excited to learn we could sit inside when we arrived. Should have let fate run its course. -The inside is really nice, very upscale. -the noise level is obnoxiously loud! Maybe it’s the acoustics or the loudest customers I have been around. There were 4 different birthdays and the wait staff riled up the tables singing happy birthday very loud. Thoughts of Chuck E Cheese and the need for earplugs came to mind. Our female waitress was great though, had a birthday table, and handled in a calm, classy manner. Reminded me of eating at Rocky and Carlos on a busy Friday night as a kid, clanking of silverware and dishes, and loudest of conversations from tables throughout. Best food by the way if you are ever in Da Parish. Food review -Wrapped eggplant appetizer with cheese and marinara sauce was EXCELLENT! -Caesar salad was the best I have ever had! -The portion sizes and food presentation was above any of my expectations. -I hate to say, but the chicken and veal were very chewy and did lack flavor. I would recommend this restaurant because the positives stacked higher than the negatives. There is so much they did right.

If you love overpriced food, HORRIBLE customer service and being made to feel worthless, then this is the place to go. We stayed at The Village so this place was convenient and looked nice so we decided to give it a try. My husband and I ordered take out. We ordered 2 dinner pastas and 1 slice of tiramisu. Total without tip was just under $84. We were told 15-20 min, went picked it up, drove back to the house, go to get out and the bag gave way, dumping our very pricey pasta in the driveway. If there was anyway to salvage it I would have. I tried my best to. It was almost 9pm by this time, we were tired, hungry and ready to relax after a long day. We scraped it off the driveway, and called the restaurant. I explained the food leaked, the bag broke and was put on hold for the manager. Matt got on the phone, I explained again and he asked “so what would you like us to do?” In a very rude way like why are you bothering me type tone…I said “we’d like you to replace the meal” He put me on hold again while he called the owner. He came back on the line and said “we will refund 50%”. NOT replace, but discount our (now trash) meal that we couldn’t eat. I thought, you have to be kidding me. I was aggravated by this point and said “matt you’re going to replace this meal and I’m on the way”. He said “ok well give me your name so I can have it started”, so I did. I drive up there with the sandy noodles in the containers in a Walmart shopping bag to show i wasnt trying to get a free meal. I set the meals on the counter and told the host I was there for the replacement, but asked to speak with the manager so I could make sure we were on the same page. He comes out, I stand up to shake his hand and he acts taken aback like “ew” didn’t want to shake my hand. I was clean, dressed in casual beachy shirt and jean shorts, nothing crazy, no tears..that caught me off guard but whatever. I explain the situation again thinking maybe he was confused or I had misunderstood. I said this is a beautiful place, the owner is obviously successful but you’re telling me he wanted me to eat the dirty noodles off the ground and offer me a discount instead of just remaking the food?? That’s incredibly insulting and demeaning. He said “well he didn’t say it in those words but yes, that’s correct” went on to say something like “we’re a business we can’t give food away” “we take great care in packaging, this has never happened before” blah blah blah. We finally (I thought) agree he’s going to remake the food AND refund 50% of the cost for all the trouble and stress caused by their poor packaging and faulty bag. After waiting uncomfortably for about 15 minutes (feeling extremely unwelcomed) I asked Ada, thd young hostess, to ask Matt for a refund if the meal will take a lot longer. She comes back and says Matt said it’ll be out soon. Matt brings out a bag (it’s plastic this time not paper, could have been the same 2 meals he had snatched off the counter in disgust that I had brought back as evidence), and hands me the check. I open it and it’s for the cost of the new meal discounted. All this hassle and he STILL was trying to charge me for the ruined dinners AND the replacement. I was so disgusted I said “just refund my money this is ridiculous I don’t want the food". He said very loudly I guess trying to embarrass me in front of the other customers “JUST REFUND HER MONEY BECAUSE SHE DOESNT WANT TO PAY FOR HER DINNER!” I said just as loudly “ I PAID FOR MY DINNER THAT I COULDNT EAT BECAUSE YOUR BAG BROKE!” They all just walked away after that leaving me standing there alone and empty handed. I was about to cry so I just walked out. I don’t like getting upset in public but after being treated and talked to the way Matt and the old lady hostess had I just couldn’t help it. I was really fighting back tears, that’s how bad they made me feel. I never argued about paying $90 for 2 plates of pasta, I just wanted to be able to eat what we paid for. we went to bed without dinner and as of now the charge hasn't been refunded to our...

Let me start by saying I own and run multiple bars and restaurants in Dallas Texas. I wouldn’t ever give a 1 or 2-star review as I know as an owner how hard it is to keep your rating when you get a bad star review. Our server Carella was great! This review is for upper management or owners so they can educate their staff! Being in this business I know how Reso and opentable reservations systems work, when it gives you windows from 5:30 -8:00 the restaurant isn't sold out yet. When I made my reservation 2 days ago for two people it gave me all these options, we chose 7:00. In the special instructions I said it was our 13 yr. Wedding Anniversary, I know they knew this as our great server told us happy anniversary! He is where the ball was dropped. It was pouring down rain and the host thought it was a great idea to sit us on the patio, closest to the open, where the ground was wet and the table top was damp. They had giant roll-down shades which were 1/4 of the way down to keep from rain pouring in, what it didn't keep was the multiple groups of people running in and going under to get out of the rain by our table. I would have had these blinds completely shut to keep all the traffic on the main road from blinding us with their headlights and making people use the front door on the other side of the building and not the patio where people are trying to eat dinner. I bring this up, because in the restaurant world when people make reservations in a timely manner and you know it's an anniversary you go out of your way to set a vibe and ambiance. Why, because they are more likely to spend more money on their special night. I am also a chef so I cook most if the time for us, so when we go out we go all out!! We have appetizers, Salad, 1 entree, 1 chef special, a bottle of wine, and dessert. We didn't due to the fact that the host/management thought sitting us at that table was ok. For the record, that table was too close to the opening of the patio and should have never been sat!! Instead, we had 1 entree, 1 chef special, and a bottle of wine. Now let's talk about the food. The chef's special braised short rib was cooked well and seasoned well. The clam linguine pasta was cooked perfectly, and the clams in the shell were great, but the soup-like flavorless sauce was horrible!! Had no season and was water down. White wine garlic cause 101, packed with flavor, velvet texture, and bright from wine and lemon. Italian food is about passion and this experience lacked it! Like I said in the beginning, I would never give 1 or 2-star reviews as it is detrimental to the business rating. I give this review so y'all have the chance to educate and train your staff before this happens to someone who doesn't care about your business.

Atmosphere inside as we walked through to our patio table that had zero ambiance except for road noise was 5 stars. Wish we got to enjoy that.

Parking was a nightmare, had to park in the lawn across the street on...

Before starting I waited 30+ days to write this review because I was told I would get a refund and never did. I made a reservation for 7:45 at 5:30 bc that was the earliest time for inside and I didn't want to sit outside, when we got there at 7:40 they told us our name wasn't on the list and I was like that's weird I got a text and everything so they were like well we can sit you outside if that's fine. We said yes bc we had already waited two hours, but we were mad bc it was going to Rain and we could have eaten like 2 hours ago. So as we are waiting for our table im like looking at the app I used to make reservations and I'm thinking to myself “yeah I pressed reserve now, it's for the right place so everything's right on my part, and the earliest reservation time at 7:40 was for 8:20.” (So clearly I couldn’t of made the reservation at 7:40 like the lady said I did). However I had gotten an email at 7:39 saying our reservation for 7:45 was booked for inside, but I was already seated and was like whatever it's not gonna be that long anyways. So as we are seated the waiter literally treated us like we were children, she didn't even engage in any conversation or ask us what we wanted to drink or a starter she threw waters at us and walked away. Then came back and asked us what we wanted for an entree but we wanted to order an app first then we ordered our entree which took 45 minutes to get there, with no one coming to check up on us. Once our food was there it was dark out and the flies were terrible, they were all over us they were in our waters so we just asked for a to go box so we didn't even get to enjoy our meal sitting down. The person serving our food had also given it to the table next to us, we watched the people cut into our food and then the waiter hands it to us like we were idiots. Then they got the manager and moved us inside and she offered to remake our food and everything so we didn't have to eat it in a box and because flies were all over our food. Then she gives us the food and it's the exact same food as before and they didn't even give us silverware so we sat there and Couldn't even eat. Then as we were leaving I wanted desert and they didn't even offer us desert or anything. Made us pay completely after our whole night was ruined.Once we called the manager to speak about our experience the lady called us liars and blamed us for everything. She continued to scream at us through the phone. Then offered a refund two days later, but took my address and then never sent it out. Told us we were the worst people to ever come in all because we wanted to be treated like decent humans, if we have money to pay for your expensive food then we deserve to be treated with respect. Worst experience I’ve ever had. The waiters also liked to talk about the people they previously served right in front...
