Cavaliere's Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in Santa Rosa

I just gor a vake with it quite good but different than thr one gotten bout 4 yrs ago with the whole taste a lot Vander for a lemon cake than should ..but textire* freshness were fine... as recall and no biggie but she misspelled my name with it only 3 letters and wrote it down as she asked.. and was questioned over as well ..but as I said No biggie I just lifted it off with butter knife and left the happy birthday to the person who paid 4& as yhere decadent chocole cake ..is my fave but not a fan of white piping atop as i recall when has a Rincon valley location it was just all chocolate as if I orfer i shall remember to ask for ..big fan of till last weekend.. bit service was kind ..just not too foregoing with written in orange instead if white or asked of a choice of in my last visit had done and was 40 a cake or 35.. and a bit better ..with it hard to find a good unchanged bakery aside laborious in north beachstill the best foccacia in area.. !! Viva LA France to Cavaliers with past !...

Ordered a round fruit basket cake, expensive at that! Only to receive a sad, dry excuse of a "fruit basket cake" made of only strawberries, a handful of blueberries & a dollop of pineapple preserves. It was nothing as described on their online menu. Which i had to re-read to make sure I wasn't loosing my mind or memory, as I've been getting fruit baskets from there for 35+ yrs.

They used to be the best, not anymore! Their attention to quality has gone downhill & is lacking. I forgave them when they sold me a gritty beehive cake, cause you know, things happen. Not this time. After this, it's time to find another bakery who takes pride in the product they produce. In this economy, I cannot waste money or lack of quality for my loved ones...

We have been ordering cakes from here for as long as they have been open. Even to this day we get our cakes here when we can and we’ve lived in Tucson, Arizona for 20 years now. Nowhere can I get a pink champagne or a princess torte that is as good as the ones from Cavelers. I am coming into California for a birthday this week and ordering one of each of our favorites listed above that my niece will pick up and deliver. I have even had 1 cake I flew back to Tucson that is how good they are.

We have also had the Beehive, Fruit basket and others. We are always pleased. Keep up the good work. The Smith...
