I have been coming to this location for sushi for many years and through many ownership changes - this new husband and wife team are by far the BEST.

This new family-owned sushi and Japanese restaurant is absolutely amazing! We visited for the first time since they opened in February, and we were so impressed. The owner assisted to serve our table and provided wonderful, insightful recommendations for cold sake. Every single thing we ordered was incredibly fresh. We started with the flavorful Salmon Sicilian sashimi, which was made with exceptionally fresh Scottish salmon. The scallop and hamachi nigiri were both amazing—the quality and flavor were out of this world. If you love great sushi, stop your search and come here. My husband and I went to Shiki Sushi on Mendocino today! They took over the restaurant from the former owners of Aji Sushi.

We had an amazing experience! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming! We sat at the bar! My husband ordered the Appetizer version of the Tempura Combo. Very tasty. He also had the hot Sake! I ordered the Sake Salmon and am very particular about how thin I want the salmon sliced! Amazing. The presentation of my salmon was spectacular! Cold Asahi for me! They are open for lunch and dinner! We are looking forward to trying new items the next time...
