meh. went here with my son because tans was closed. tried it while it was dierks (sp?) and it wasn’t very good. it’s worse now. same menu but the food wasn’t good. pale undercooked hash browns are the only potato option. no home fries. i got hash. overcooked and dry with cheese on it. ? weird. cheese doesn’t belong on hash. super dry, chewy, tough bits of some kinda meat. my son got an omelette with sausage. looked like lil jimmy dean finger sausages sliced up. he didn’t like it. great service. bad, luke warm food. won’t be coming back. super disappointed. $50+ with 2 coffees. ouch. should have went to my usual spot. thought this place would be better especially since it’s new but it wasn’t. my usual spot has much better music too.
well i went back to J&M's for my last time just to get coffee and try their donuts. they smelled like onion rings and fish sticks. you like fish sticks? not in my donuts. gross. maybe change the oil once in a while. lame. coffee was gross too. way to strong. my grrlfriend couldn’t even drink it. won’t be back. ever.
owner; tans is better, quit trying to sell crytals corner, that isn't the issue, the issue i have is with YOUR restaurants bad food. tried your lame spot twice. breakfast isn't a hard meal to prepare, i gave yall 2 stabs at it and you failed miserably both times, why should i come back? the coffee wasn't even good. it was YOUR donuts that tasted like onion rings and fish sticks, not tans. smh.
nah your coffee just sucks, like...
Read moreToday on this day of July 4th, my girlfriend and I explored the local lists of breakfast restaurants. To my surprise most were closed, until there was a golden glimpse of hope. Drove past Dierk’s Midtown Cafe. And the place looked like a family bonding moment in one of those emotional scenes in a movie. Laughter and talking , all while savoring each bite of their brunch time banquet. Decision was made, this is where we were going to have out feast. Short wait to get in, and got right to it. Piping hot diner coffee in a mug felt like the drink of the gods fueling my body for this comestible cuisine of consumption. When coming here the first thing that comes to mind is comfort food. So Chicken fried steak, hash browns, and an accompaniment of two deliciously devourable over medium eggs and a side of perfectly buttered sourdough toast. How you say? magnifique!! Did I mention I also ordered the cinnamon and sugar dusted pull apart bread? To share of course. This was a monumental masterpiece. My food ingenuity kicked in and I whipped the plate up together steak, hash browns , and of course an egg on top, in between the sourdough and sunk my teeth in. You know those moments when the food is so good your eyes roll back and you try and say oh my god but it comes out mmmohhmyyuhgod. Yep right there in the restaurant in front of everyone. No shame it was well deserved. Long story short, go there and have your own...
Read moreLive over 2 hours away. Traveled to Santa Rosa this morning to pick up merchandise purchased from a lovely store across the street. The owners of the business suggested my daughter, myself, and her friend drop in there for lunch prior to us getting back on the road to come home. They actually recommended this establishment. We walked in and ordered 3 sandwiches to go. 2 Fried Chicken Sandwiches and the other was some specialty sandwich with turkey. All came with fries. My daughter ordered a can of Pepsi and I requested an iced tea. Close to $60. later we ended up with cold (borderline rude) service. Burnt buns with chicken jerky . $2.95 for a to-go ice tea in a hot coffee to-go sized cup with most of it ice and an almost $5.00 'service charge' on top of the order and tax. Honestly regret stop there. Ended up eating the french fries, getting about 4 good sips off my tea, and going through drive through for my daughter and I. Her friend ate his sandwich. Not sure what the issue was but definately would not recommend and won't be revisiting when I return to do...
