WOW. Every town needs a Hutch Cafe! Don't pass this up if you're passing through town.
We contacted them before we went to make sure they were open (due to COVID) and they offered to open early for us! We went and got curbside pickup and were greeted by a very friendly lady who told us the daily specials, helped us get the menu pulled up, and order online. Great customer service. Food was ready before our quoted time on the website (and we ordered quite a bit of stuff.)
We tried the Lavender Iced Latte. It is wonderful, refreshing, and tastes awesome. You can tell the coffee/espresso is high quality.
Food was also great. We got a blueberry muffin and ham & cheese croissants. Croissants were hot & fresh, and both were delicious. Definitely get the green chili mayo for the croissant (or any other sandwich.) YUM!
We also sampled several of their pastries including the key lime cookies, caramel apple cake, and tuxedo scone. They are all excellent!
We may go back for lunch before we leave.
If you're looking for a place to get coffee or eat breakfast/lunch, your search if over! I'd give them 6 stars...
Read moreFound this cafĂ© on our way home from spending the week at Sipapu ski resort, Definitely agreed to come back if ever in the area again. The croissants were the most fluffy yet Cripsy and buttery Iâve ever tasted. They did not have a turkey croissant sandwich in the menu, But they made one special just for me. Per usual I was indecisive on my coffee, The lady at the register gave a fabulous recommendation for the cinnamon roll iced coffee. Turns out that lady is the daughter of the man who made the heavenly croissants. This cafĂ© is family run and own and has a variety of homemade scones that are just as tasty as the croissants All made fresh that morning. The atmosphere is a mix between Bahama Buckâs beach and a classic cozy coffee shop. Once again if you find yourself in this area, Make a stop in this cafe for a unforgettable experience on your taste...
Read moreWe travel along I-40 frequently to visit family in Texas. Mr. Bee's is going to be a new tradition for us. It's such a lovely place, with really great natural lighting, super friendly staff, and very yummy food! They have fun books with New Mexico history and little games to keep kids busy such as Connect Four. The sandwiches were all quite large and quite delicious - I recommend the toasted chicken salad. I had to take a nap in the car while my husband drove b/c it sent me into a food coma. =) They had a plumbing issue so we needed to walk to the public library, but we ended finding a nice little used book sale and scored a nice haul. Coffee and drinks were delicious too. The kids loved the orange dreamsicle cream soda. I wish we didn't live more than two hours away from Mr. Bee's - what a...
