Mr. Pickle's Sandwich Shop - Santa Rosa, CA — Restaurant in Santa Rosa

Honestly I'm pretty fair with reviews; I try and give shops the benefit of the doubt all the time; unfortunately Mr. Pickles time and time again has shown to be one of the worst restaurants in Santa Rosa. They "try" to be on door-dash but it seems to be a self fulfilling prophecy that they're just doomed to fail when it comes to orders like this. What you can expect trying to order through food delivery services in these trying times when some people don't have the option to leave their home and get food. Your order being on hold, for half an hour only for the staff to see your order, not feel up to the task, and cancel it; your order (by some miracle) has actually been made but by the time it gets to you, they've managed to completely ruin a sandwich that had only 3 ingredients, or some-times they'll just go as far as to not even want to appear on door-dash whatsoever. (which I can understand) I know businesses have to go through a process and spend money to be included into services like this, but if you are. Actually fulfill the orders you get, and make sure they're right. Going into the restaurant is another story but I felt the need to comment about their poor door-dash service as I'm fed up with the absurdly abundant of cancelled orders that I've waited extremely long for, or...

Placed an on-line order today. When I arrived, there were no other customers, but my sandwich had not been made on the bread which was clearly printed on the order receipt. Good thing I checked bag before departing. No apology offered. While waiting for it to be remade, I noted that the towel that was used to wipe down the plastic preparation area was almost touching (@1/2 inch) the sandwich bread. I mentioned it nicely and the employee responded "but it is not actually touching it". As she waited for the hot ingredients to be done, she wiped down the counter with the same moist towel and then placed the sandwich seconds later on that same counter surface--no paper wrapping separating the bread from the counter. I politely remarked that this seemed to be an unsanitary process. She responded that the towel "was not dirty" though there were clearly condiment marks, etc. from previous sandwiches. Ordered two simple turkey sandwich’s from our favorite spot we were told the wait would be 25 minutes today which we were fine with and since they’re always behind on the time they give us to pick up we gave an extra 10 minutes because the seemed very busy well we arrive and they cant seem to find them mind you there are about six girls behind the counter one who said she remembered taking our order and making them but they must’ve gave them away she said . we should’ve know when we walked in and no one behind the counter was working and gossiping about a t shirt that we were screwed mr pickles please hire better employees who actually work so we can come back and enjoy your food very sad we had to leave with no sandwiches after waiting forever and driving down to end up...
