Mochi Sweets — Restaurant in Sappington

Mochinut is really clever. The name is perfect, the donuts look amazing, the service gets it done. That said Mochinut could scale up a bit. The donuts are not varied enough, they are very very chewy which if that is what you want it is perfect but if not it's hard to get past. The decor is fun but so sparse as to make you want to sit outside or leave. Also the drinks are too simple/basic soda/juice/water. It would cost nothing to offer a simple profitable Italian cream soda which would add more flavor options and add moisture to the Mochinuts.

Great idea that needs more focus.

UPDATE: I made a misstatement in regards to the beverage options, and the Mochinut flavors. There are three juice flavored teas, and 5 milk tea options. This is not a varied boba tea style but they are distinct options. Also there are many Mochinut flavors they just rotate them roughly 4 at a time so depending on when you come you can have more options. This is a fun place no question just be aware that you are not getting a donut or kronut style pastry. This is a rice flower consistency and texture. Also the hotdogs were not tried but there are up to twelve options for a breaded hotdog depending...

So first the ambiance 10/10! Its so cute, the staff are so sweet and they play popular music from a diverse playlist.

The cute uniquely shaped donut options are adorable 😍 I ordered three different ones, you can see in the video I attached this time. They are all good, the flavors well balanced and the donut texture is even unique. It has a soft meltiness with a sponge like texture to give it some chew.

I also got an Oolong Thai Boba which was such a pleasure moment I had to dance in my seat.

This was our 2nd time coming here. The first time they were closed. But we were excited to get the chance to stop by this time and we're making this a regular spit now.

There is an app called Too Good to Go when the facility try to sell the items at a discounted price of what is left instead of throwing it away. You need to pick up the items at a certain time frame. The time for me to pick it up was between 4:30pm -5:00pm. We drove 30 minutes we got there at 4:40pm to pick it up and this store Mochi Sweets cancelled my order. The manager said there was nothing left when there was more than 20 Mochidonuts on display. She told me it was already refunded but what was upsetting was when she said there was none left. It was a big fat lie right to my face!!! This store should be ashamed of themselves to treat customers like these. It just shows that they are very greedy and they rather sell the items that was left at a regular price. Customers should stay away from this type of establishment that is not honest with their customers. This store does not care about treating customers fairly rather they care more about making money. Again...
