I don’t normally get fast food especially from McDonald’s because every time there is a mistake. Plus I hardly ever leave reviews because I feel that no matter how many reviews a place can get, nothing changes.(Some places do reply back but I’ve heard McDonald’s might reply if it’s one of the decent ones) So anyways I had an appointment this morning kinda early so therefore I didn’t get a chance to eat a little something before leaving home. On my way to my appointment I thought I would go ahead and grab a little something from McDonald’s on Fruitville & Beneva. The nice thing was the line was not long so I didn’t have to wait. So I ordered my food plus a caramel frappe with extra drizzle. After paying and went to the next window to receive my food & I thought they had the wrong order because my frappe didn’t look like a frappe. And anyone that has ever purchased frappes knows that they are not cheap plus you get charged a little extra for the drizzle (which I don’t mind). Well for one, there was no extra drizzle at all, second there was no whip cream on top & third the cup they used for my frappe was a small plastic cup instead of a medium. So as I’m trying to talk to the gentleman giving me my food, he couldn’t quite understand me because he spoke Spanish & unfortunately I don’t (which I’m not blaming him nor was I mad) but for a breakfast sandwich, hash brown & my so called frappe w/extra drizzle the total was almost $9. I requested no bacon on my sandwich which they did not do :) but the price I paid and the frappe I received should not have...
Read moreUpdate: I did end up getting in contact with the manager because I had to return to pick up food I forgot. She fixed it and educated her staff member. I appreciate your help. And I changed my review to to reflect that the manager was willing to fix it and not be nasty about it, while also making sure the staff was told how to.
Original: well, I tried to call. Was gonna try and resolve it with a manager. but no one answered and when they did, they just sat there and hung up. I went through two separate times to get a sugar-free French vanilla iced coffee in which the first one had sugar in it (a lot) and I gave it to my son figuring that on the second time around, I would get a sugar-free. no, I asked hey, is this one sugar-free ? She says no also it didn’t even have cream in it. So from the car, I could see the 2 inches of sugar at the bottom. So I tell her please make it sugar-free. She comes back, hand it to me with a smile. And as we were pulling away, I took a drink of nothing but pure sugar. As a wife of a very brittle diabetic, it really worries me that people just don’t care as to why you want or need it without sugar. Be careful McDonald’s. Re-educate your staff to health issues that could result in putting someone into...
Read moreThis location really is the worst in town... I went inside to order at 9:45. There was one person ahead of me and one person behind me. I ordered a fish sandwich and a LARGE fries without salt. When the cashier yelled back "large fries no salt", the manager working the fry station looked back at the cashier and rolled her eyes, then she glared at me. (sorry ,but I am on a low salt diet but I love french fries.) Then the guy behind me orders a strawberry shake and apple pie to go. After 15 minutes goes by, he hasn't gotten his order. I told him to speak up because the cashier got her dinner order and she sat down to eat. Another manager filled his order, without any apologies. After 30 minutes, I received my order. Only to see that my large fries container wasn't even half full. I asked this second manager "what size is this?" She replied, "I 'll make you another." At this point I said don't bother. And there was no apologies from anyone. While waiting a half-hour, I watched that first manager pulling out her cell phone and texting several times. Shame on management for their lack of service and example for...
