Miller's Ale House — Restaurant in Sarasota

My family and I went tonight to try and have dinner and we weren’t even able to be given an estimated time for some reason but still waited. About 15 min into we, we went outside to wait because the inside was very crowded. My husband, my 7 year old, and 9 year old daughters and I sat outside on a bench to wait. Shortly after that, an employee came out and was unlocking his bike off of a bench next to where we were sitting and started accusing my husband of moving his bike! He was yelling at us and cursing in front of my children for something we did not do or even know what he was talking about. My husband went to get a manager and he continued to yell at me and with my children next to me, cursing that we moved his bike! I tried to tell him we did not touch his bike but he just kept yelling and saying it was us, we did it! He caused a huge scene in front of everyone waiting and was very inappropriate. First of all, why is an employee allowed to tie up a bike on a bench in the front of a restaurant made for the purpose of customers to sit and wait for their table??? Also, I cannot believe employees are allowed to behave in that manner to customers, let alone anyone! Management didn’t seem overly concerned or even attempt to calm the situation down much when they came out, and the employee just drove off on his bike. I refused to eat there after the way my family and I were treated and we left to eat somewhere where I actually feel valued as a customer. You can bet my family and I will not be back there to that establishment again! Very very...

Well went to Miller’s ale house about a month ago got the French dip asked for no onions so when they brought out my sandwich it was covered in onions so the bar tender apologized and said he would get me another one and put it on the fast for me so about 20 minutes later he came back after my wife was done eating and said you never got your order I said no and told him to cancel it and then the manager came over and said let me package one to go for you I said ok and he never came back so I left with no dinner and had to tell them to take it off the bill well let’s talk about this past weekend I thought it was just a bad night so we went to watch football and ordered a mountain melt daughter asked for bacon Ang onions on the side and guess what happened it came with both on the whole plate again bar tender apologized and told us to keep that one and he would put in another one and bartender came back 20 minutes later says you never got the new one and I told him know so I told him to cancel it and one of the managers happened to be walking back rite after that happened so I called him over and explained what had happened to me the last 2 visits and again apologized but I kinda felt like he was. Being bothered by me telling him what had happened in my book that is terrible customer service so I have written them off I used to go there like once a week but you got me twice your not gonna get me a third time...

Where to start? Parking: get there early. Their parking sucks. Not enough spaces for occupancy.

Service: let's just say there is 1 server, Stephanie, worth a tip above 10% And there is only 1 server, Neveah, that's worth a tip over 20%. The rest should find jobs where you dont deal with people.

Food: One word. Inconsistent. Wings: One week they are great. The next week, gross like they parboiled them kind of texture. Burgers: Medium doesnt mean burnt. Their cooks cant seem to figure that out. One week perfect. The next week, like eating rubber. Prime rib: Thats a mistake. Ive yet to have it decent. One week the meat tasted rancid. Would have loved to tell our server - didnt catch her name because she had no tag on - but she never came back except when we were paying the bill. I've yet to get a medium prime rib served at even room temp. Fries: good if you like sodium. Over seasoned every time to point of unpalatable.

Bathroom: there's a stall in the ladies room that runs and doesnt flush. I said something to the staff at the bev station, located right in front of the entrance to the ladies room. They just brushed me off as it was there the next time we went.

Overall: our last time there was our last time going there. You can only eat the same stick of butter...
