Paddy Wagon Irish Pub - Fruitville Commons — Restaurant in Sarasota

Great place to have fun and hangout. If you’re expecting a traditional Irish pub, prepare to be pleasantly surprised. This location is very modern and simple, with good music and excellent service. It is loud inside, but that is because all the patrons are there to have fun. An added bonus is that they are open late without being a trashy dive bar. I’m not sure how no one has left a review yet, but I will be frequenting often.

Edit a few months later: My opinion hasn’t changed. Even the new bartenders are very nice and efficient. The poor reviews are most likely from drunk people who were cut off. Notice how none of them go into detail. This place deserves better

Gotta give this place a 1 star as they are a “Irish pub” that poured a terrible pint of guiness yesterday. Although the female bartender waited before the 2nd pour, she pulled the tap towards her for the 2nd part of the pour which resulted in a lot of bubbles on the head. There was also no domeage on the head, it didn’t even reach the top of the glass. Don’t go here...

I'm not sure why the reviews are so low. We have been in twice this week and have had great experiences both days. They don't serve food, they have snacks so how can you rate them 1 on food when it's not even an option? Although today, Sunday, they did have complimentary sandwiches and chips.
