What a joke! Came here for brunch one morning new to the area as a Vegan and was SO excited to see the All Day Breakfast Burrito option. It was so good I ate it all! The sauce was super yummy!! I left town for a few weeks and came back so excited to come back and get another with their yummy coffee I drove 20 mins out of my way to come for the burrito! Reminding me of our amazing Mexican and vegan food back home in San Diego. I ordered an extra sauce as one is not enough unless you get half a burrito! šŸ¤ØšŸ˜’ I get my ā€œburrito and it’s about half the size it was my first time coming in. Mostly tortilla! I went back and inquired if this was right and Lacey had an attitude about it and was solid in her response. Which was that’s ā€œprettyā€ normal and didn’t offer to make any changes, then shared well maybe you just got a bigger one that day?!!!! The gas lighting that just took place is SUPER unexceptionable in customer service! Apparently they don’t serve the same amount of filling depending when you go! 🧐 The burrito should have been made properly with the proper amount of filling! For an 11$ I received LITERALLY half a burrito! I am a loyal customer and had planned on this being a local spot for me as there aren’t many QUALITY VEGAN food options in Sarasota or even FL in general! Unfortunately I wouldn’t come back nor would I recommend. I find this extremely disappointing considering I made a divine new friend during my first experience while waiting for my food and we discussed coming here to reconnect. Definitely will be exploring other options. What a night and day experience. Hopefully you get the day experience!

So I ordered online and for To-Go, you need to pay an extra 25Ā¢ per item. The food itself is a lil pricey but in my opinion, super worth it. The burrito I got was the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had!! I usually don’t like homestyle potatoes because they’re too oily but these were perfect + the green sauce that went with the burrito was clearly made with fresh veggies and resembled a really good green goddess dressing, it made the burrito 10x better! the sweet bun was really big and only $5! I’ve never had one before, it was a tasty vanilla bean custard in a bun, and honestly i don’t think i could ever finish one of those 🤣 i only had a small piece and then put it down, it was good but i definitely have to pace myself šŸ˜…. If you like pudding stuffed donuts though, this is right up your alley! If i lived near a project coffee, i’d definitely be broke, I’m going back again today to try their waffle and an egg and cheese biscuit (: I hope they expand their locations and bring one to tampa!!

4th update ( original incident happened around Christmas time 2020) I contacted the owner via Instagram and they were rude and had no interest in resolving anything. We will never be back. I am apauled they don't care about making things right. We would have gladly given them another chance after being customers since their opening. Changing from 2 to 1 star after the Instagram incident and no intent to care for their customers.

3rd update: has been over 4 months...we still will not go back without contact from management

2nd update: over 2 months...no response...will not go back without a response

Update it gas been a month...no response.

We walked in 23 minutes before closing and the place was spotless which I appreciate. I almost thought they were closed. The workers were not rude but the overall "vibe" was unfriendly and we got the feeling they were annoyed we came in close to closing. We Drove 35 minutes from our home in Bradenton for what we considered a special treat. The person taking my order didn't ask what size for my drink but said it came with 2 shots ( there were two if us) and made the smallest size when I asked for the larger size with just one shot which is not what I drove so far for. My daughter got the larger size...doesn’t make sense. Then I noticed we were charged extra when it was already $30 for 2 drinks and 2 food items for To Go. I should have been told there was an up charge. When I asked she said everything is " To Go" the last half hour...so, why was I charged extra? This was not explained in advance. The food and drinks tasted great, very clean store just very poor overall "vibe" over priced. Better customer service needed before we would consider going back. Left upset. The workers were wearing masks, thank you for that and thank you for providing vegan options. If this can be resolved I will...

Just moved here from San Diego, CA and the first thing I wanted to do is grab an aƧaĆ. I came across project coffee because of all the reviews and because it’s literally the only place in town. Literally. The first thing I noticed when I entered was how horrible the small girl working at the register looked at me and my dogs when I walked in, she literally yawned and didn’t greet me or my beautiful dogs (two boxers) and after trying to get something to eat (they only serve toxic replacement of eggs god knows what ingredients in it ) and they only serve rice water aka oat milk on their drinks which was a total disappointment! I mean get this people on a plane please to travel so they can expand their creative minds a little. She took my order and told me to sit outside with the dogs. Horrible first impression and what a blank face with no vibe this girl has omg how is she working there. Another thing I noticed was that the energy was very off here. Only white pretentious people and everyone looks at you weird. Also, everyone that works here are wannabes trying too hard to be cool. I can see right through all of you, fake af. Never in my life have I ever had such a horrible experience at a coffee shop. Please change your crew ASAP, I know you guys are desperate to be around young cool people because Sarasota is old and boring but PLEASE focus on the actually genuine REAL heart people not this fake trying too hard people it’s actually a joke. Please go experience it for yourself: take a look around, notice their attitude, notice how they are judge everyone and how they treat you well depending on who you are. Disgusting. All of you. Please do me a favor and travel to...
