Tacos El Costeno is a hidden gem. We tried it on our first night in Sarasota, based on all of the glowing reviews, and it did not disappoint. My husband had a steak taco and pork taco and my daughter had a chicken taco. The tacos came with cilantro, lime, onion, and slices of radishes. Based on one review I saw, I went for a gordita with chorizo, and it was amazing. The dough was freshly fried. The chorizo was so flavorful. I was in heaven. 1 gordita for dinner was plenty for me to feel full. The food was served with 2 sauces to add on--one green and one red and both were great. I liked that there were picnic tables to eat freshly cooked food that was brought out to us. My only gripe was that the tables are close to a road that has a decent amount of traffic going by, so it was a bit loud. But not a big deal overall.
