Hadn't been in there in ages because I usually shop online. Phoned them to ensure they could ship a box for me via USPS. Waited about 15 minutes for the clerk to emerge from the bathroom because no other employee was trained to work the system. When I asked what my options were, she couldn't tell me anything until she input my name, address, and phone number, along with that of the recipient. OK. Another 10 minutes to get her to enter that information. I asked her if she needed to weigh the box to give me prices. Seriously, I had to ask that question. After all that, my options were Priority Mail or First Class. Same delivery date, but Priority cost a few dollars more. OK. Made no sense so chose First Class. Then her label printer wouldn't work. The regular printer worked fine. She asked the store manager on duty for help, but he complained that they never trained him on the system. As a computer consultant, I asked her basic questions. Was the label printer turned on? Did it have labels in it? And so on. Finally got her to unplug the printer and turn it on. Suddenly, labels were able to come out but they were blank. I Googled the model number for troubleshooting. Was unable to get a configuration label to print and further troubleshooting would have involved configuration of the label printer. I wasn't about to go that far with a computer at a retail store and she claimed she had no access to tech support, so I left with my box. Wasted about an hour dealing with utter incompetence. Do you think I'll ever walk into that store again?

Read moreThere first time I was here, the woman working the printing/copying desk was very rude. I sent an email with my files that needed printing and she had me wait for 30 minutes because she didn't receive any of the emails. As more time passed, I asked someone else, and he pulled up the email right away, that had in fact been received the first time I sent it. She refused to help me with printing options but the other gentleman was very helpful and I was able to get my services done. I went back today and she refused to help me again because she was "too busy with online orders" and said I had to use the self service copy machine. (I have a printer at my house, which I could have used for free. I come here for the professional printing services). Since I was using special paper, I opened the paper drawer for the printer and she yelled at me from behind the desk. Read moreI literally was kicked out of office depot today at 6 pm( not hrs posted on the door)because the Manager wanted to go trick or treating this is whathe verballystated. This is the worst service that I have ever received and the most disrespected I have ever felt. I have filed a formal complaint and would like to let the public know to never visit this location for Customer service. Today I did not receive Customer service nor did I receive Respect. The Manager who also scolded another employee in front of me as well said to me "I'm kicking you out because I want to close early" in the middle of me faxing an 11 page document. 🙃. He physically interrupted my fax and kicked me out being so unprofessional. My fax was on 7 out 11 and he couldn't wait 1 minute.
