Extremely unpleasant and odd experience. Today I went into this location with my 10 month old son to do some shopping for an upcoming trip. I put my son in the front of a small shopping cart as this is the easiest way I can shop. We immediately went to the back of the store so I could quickly use the rest room before shopping. I brought the SMALL cart into the restroom with me (it had my son in it but NO MERCHANDISE). As soon as we entered the restroom we went to the smaller stall as the larger handicapped stall was being used. The woman in the stall said "you're not allowed to bring that cart in here". I explained there is no merchandise. She proceeded to tell me I need to put the cart outside the bathroom door. So I walked out and waited for this very rude woman to exit the bathroom as well. I asked for her name and she said "Tracy I'm one of the managers here". I wanted an explanation of how someone could tell me there are no carts allowed in the restroom. She said oh I didn't realize you had a baby.. well of course because you never saw me. She then proceeded to say I could have waited for the large stall that she was in so I could use the changing table. Another assumption. I did not have to change my sons diaper I simply needed to go into the small stall (that I was in) and use the restroom myself. I did not need to be taught bathroom etiquette or told which stall is acceptable for myself and my son to be in. The small cart fit perfectly in the bathroom and even in the small stall with me. I did not need to wait until Tracy was finished to use the large stall nor did I need to be told that carts are not allowed in the bathroom. If this is a policy of TJ Maxx I would have gladly followed, however as far as signage is concerned the policy is no merchandise in the bathroom. I would like to add that my 91 year old grandmother shops at TJ MAXX also, and uses a small cart to help stabilize as she walks the isles. Would she be asked to leave her empty cart outside as well? This seems like a safety concern. I am very disappointed in this whole experience and can promise my family will not be back to this location. There are other similar retailers that we will gladly bring our...
Read moreThe XXL Purse & Bag area to the left is outstanding at this TJ MAX- BeeRidge /Tuttle, SRQ. Yes! Even compared to 2 other TJ MAX Stores I shop. Stop off at the front Showcase Table of Known Brands such as COACH, KATE SPADE, CALVIN KLEIN. You may need assistance. They do sell quickly & can be up to $ 200. ( 199.99 !) I''d say $125-150 would cover most smaller bags, wallet types on that show table. Early day, 90% of the options are nicely organized & hung on ~ 4 aisles of hooked rows. Some Brands are highlighted on the surrounded 2 walls. I would plan on using $30 to $110 for just what you are looking for & others you are surprised to find! All Sizes, Colors, Materials, Fanciful Patterns & styles meant for different purposes are at this TJ MAX for you to review & live with to enjoy for special & everyday life. -Almost forgot, Look at the wallet area. Some may be found in the same pattern to match your bag selection. AND, Look for the fabric covered, etc & eye glass cases if i didn't buy 'em all. They are nearby the sunglasses. Luggage pieces must have traveled themselves up the width of the store to the front door. Odd placement for items one would search the store purposely to buy. Many times i have made trips to this TJ MAX to hunt down some luggage for my traveling son.... and all have held up well ! I assume the front door luggage pieces positioned like big, pretty Legos visually & physically posing blockage to the noted oustanding purse area will be 'traveling' elsewhere. The store covers all special finds for the home including a bit of specialty food treats. (Today i must return for more GemGem Ginger Chews.) These areas are up to your shopping desires! Always changing. AS FAR AS Jewelry, Lotions, Makeup, Hair items- again i say those areas are up to your mood shopping desires! I will relay all the CLOTHING, SHOES & ACCESSORIES Merchandise turn over frequently so try on any clothing for the right fit inorder to stay & find your perfect fit size before you go. GOgo..GO home! Enjoy...
Read moreI recently visited TJ Maxx and found the store to be pretty organized, especially compared to other locations. It was easy to navigate, and everything seemed in order, which was nice.
However, I was a bit disappointed with the selection in the men's department. There weren't many options available in size L, which made it tough to find what I was looking for. Overall, the store was okay, but the limited stock for men's sizes was a letdown.
EDIT: I had to reduce it to three stars because of the rude staff today, I understand that it's chaotic after Helene and Milton but there's no reason to be rude at the...
