The Fat Rabbit Pub — Restaurant in Sarasota

The Fat Rabbit in downtown Sarasota is an absolute gem! Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made from scratch. The wings were the standout- especially the buffalo garlic ranch, Fat Rabbit, and root beer BBQ. Juicy, messy in the best way, and packed with flavor. Their house ranch is hands down the best I’ve ever had. Favorite wings in Sarasota, period.

The blackened chicken roll with Fat Rabbit sauce (cilantro kick!) was addictive, and the pretzel flight was genius…the everything bagel pretzel is a must, and the spicy Sriracha pretzel with beer cheese was incredible. The burger was perfectly cooked, super juicy, and easily one of the best in town. Don’t skip the tots!!! the seasoning on them is pure magic.

Cocktails were just as impressive as the food. The Thumper Derby was bright, citrusy, and perfectly balanced. The vibe of the restaurant is awesome too…eclectic rock décor, shuffleboard and darts, and a fun, welcoming energy. We even met the chef, who explained that everything is made from scratch (no microwaves in the kitchen), and you can absolutely taste the difference.

Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere. A hidden gem on Main Street and one of my new favorite spots in Sarasota. Can’t wait...

Marvelous MARIOOOOO wow what an experience… Before I start gotta say thank you to him was a wonderful host/server extremely knowledgeable & accurate when it came to the menu.. This place is it, food is not only enjoyable but a wide spread variety.. Main Street needed this, needed it bad. Drinks are smooth & refreshing, & pricing … please everyone should take a few notes they are on POINT.. We got 3 apps for our meal & 4drinks (Don Julio lemon drops & Don Julio Margaritas)in total only $100 + Gratuity... music was perfect, ima love hate to see this place busy because once word is truly out this is definitely without a doubt the new hot spot for locals/tourists. Until then ima enjoy this lovely hidden gem 10 outta 10 I HIGHLY recommend.. if a had to say something maybe extra sauce on my wings but truly it.. nothing crazy.

Edit: not sure what happen with pricing on drinks but went from $12-15 per drink to now $18… Thought we found a regular spot but being charged $15 for Don Julio then an additional $3 to make it a margarita or whatever drink is kinda absurd 4 drinks $72 & I still have to tip....at least give me the extra instead of dumping it out.. thank you...

I don’t usually frequent bars, however I came to the fat rabbit a few weeks ago and haven’t stopped coming back weekly to come in and eat and drink. The staff is amazing, and I’ve yet to meet one person who isn’t less than amazing. The food and drink are phenomenal. Can’t go wrong with any of the burgers or wings. Along with any of the craft cocktails they offer on the menu. I recommend the Fat Rabbit to anyone who’s looking for a fun and inclusive atmosphere.
