From the moment I arrived at The Tribute Sarasota Modern Hotel, I knew my stay would be nothing short of extraordinary. The modern, sophisticated design and welcoming atmosphere set the stage for an unforgettable experience. What truly elevated my time at this remarkable hotel, however, was the exceptional service provided by the entire team, especially Chelsea, the GM, Jason at the front desk, and the engineer, Serial.
My room was an absolute haven - beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed for both comfort and style. Every detail, from the plush bedding to the elegant decor, contributed to a sense of modern luxury that left me feeling pampered and relaxed.
The on-site restaurant was a culinary delight, with innovative dishes and delectable cocktails that tantalized my taste buds. Each meal was a testament to the hotel's commitment to providing top-notch dining experiences that leave a lasting impression.
However, it was the personalized and attentive service that truly made my stay exceptional. Jason, at the front desk, went above and beyond to accommodate my every need, making me feel like a cherished family member rather than just a guest. His warmth and genuine care for my well-being were evident in every interaction, and I cannot praise him enough for his outstanding hospitality.
When I had specific requests, Chelsea, the GM, was immediately responsive and put them into action with professionalism and grace. Her dedication to ensuring my satisfaction and comfort made a significant impact on my overall experience. Her leadership was evident in the entire staff's commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience.
The engineer, Serial, was also a pleasure to interact with - polite, professional, and accommodating. He ensured that my room and the entire hotel were maintained to the highest standards, contributing to the hotel's impeccable presentation.
I have had the privilege of staying at many hotels, but The Tribute Sarasota Modern Hotel stands out as one of the best. The combination of a stylish, contemporary atmosphere, outstanding amenities, and exceptional service creates an experience that feels more like being welcomed into a warm, inviting family home than checking into a hotel.
I must give a special mention to Jack, the skilled and personable bartender, who consistently provided impeccable service throughout my stay. His expertise in mixology was evident as he crafted delicious and inventive cocktails that perfectly complemented the flavors of each dish. Jack's warmth and friendliness made me feel right at home, elevating my overall dining experience and contributing to the hotel's inviting atmosphere.
As my time at The Tribute Sarasota Modern Hotel draws to a close, I can honestly say that I don't want to leave. This hotel has exceeded my expectations and redefined what luxury accommodation can be. I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone seeking an outstanding hotel experience...
Read moreHere are a few of the issues that we had during our stay:
Website says that there is self parking and valet parking. We prefer to self park. When we arrived at the hotel we were told that the only parking available was valet. Although it was complimentary, this was a bit of an inconvenience. Especially when we were checking out. The valet area was not large enough to accommodate all the guests that needed to load up their cars that morning. We booked a Residential Suite for our party of 4. Both the website and our email confirmation said that the bedding was 1 King and a Sofa bed. We found that the sofa in the room did not convert to a bed. When we called guest services they told us that the only way to sleep 4 people was to put 3 in the king bed and 1 on the sofa. That is ludicrous. The room definitely wasn't meant for 4. It was clearly meant for 3. I feel like we were misled. I would not have paid additional for this room if we had known. We would've been more comfortable in a regular guest room with 2 beds. There was no AC vent in the bedroom. So the bedroom was always hot while the living room area where the kids slept was like a meat locker. We tried to grab a late dinner in the restaurant. The website and all the documentation states that the restaurant closes at 10pm. When we arrived at 9:15pm, we were told that the kitchen closed at 9pm and they only thing available from 9pm to 10pm was drinks from the bar. We tried to place a room service order another night. No one at guest services or room service answered the phone. It rang and rang. I got frustrated after a while and stopped trying. There were several occasions when we tried to reach guest services to ask a question and the call would mysteriously disconnect or they never answered the phone. There were 2 TV's in the room. The issue is that they are mounted on opposite sides of the same wall. When we would change the channel on the TV in the bedroom, it would perform the same function in the living room. When we would turn 1 TV up/down, it would happen on both TVs. When the kids hit the Netflix button on their remote, it would open Netflix on both tv's.
The property is beautiful and conveniently located. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the issues we encountered while staying here degraded our experience. We are very familiar with the...
Read moreOur family just spend a week here and we had quite a mixed experience. First the property is beautiful- very lovely pool deck and main pool, cold dipping pool and hot tub. Plenty of lounge chairs and tables, but not a lot of shade. There’s one shady part but it has sofas and you cannot see the pool from there. The pool bar drinks were good if made by one bartender, the other bartenders not so much. The only decent thing we ate there was the pizza. We tried other foods the first night such as salads with chicken and chicken tenders and they were not good, so we didn’t eat there again. This is a great location walkable to Main Street and other local restaurants in the Rosemany District so we sought meals elsewhere. We had a ground floor room (lofted queen beds) and the outside space was good to have and the kids loved their lofted space. However, the room was dark because it was on the ground floor. Carpet was old and dirty. Also the air became stale after awhile (Florida tap water smells and tends to permeate the room) and there was no way to get fresh air in unless you propped the heavy metal door open with a deck chair. If you like light and fresh air, skip the ground floor rooms. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to borrow beach chairs and beach toys. Valet attendants were also great. Our main gripe with this hotel was housekeeping. The room was consistently either not made up or made up halfway with floors left unvacuumed, dirty dishes left behind, the tub left dirty and never enough towels. We frequently had to request towels and the towels given were rough and old. One was so old I actually split it as I bent over as one would split pants! Beds were comfortable but linens were thin. No mugs or glasses in the room- just small plastic or styrofoam cups. Communal soap/shampoo from a dispenser in the shower. Also worth mentioning, the hotel pool has day guests that visit, so daily clientele varies. We chatted with a few daily guests who mentioned the service/cleaning issues have been ongoing for some time.
We would not stay here again for the price and are surprised the hotel has been able to maintain its bonvoy tribute status with its housekeeping and service issues. But we do appreciate the efforts of the front desk staff, bartender and valet attendants who were...
