**Update 3/2024. Have always loved this place. Hadn't been in a while. Prices definitely have gone up just like everywhere else. 6.99 for the Cheeseburger, no fries included. Fries are a 3.50 add on. Was disappointed on this visit. The burger and fries flavor is still good, but the burger came out barely warm and the fries were cold. Nothing worse than cold fries. I usually love their fry sauce, but it was empty. I asked them twice to refill it and it never happened. It was Friday and the first day of spring break, but seriously. I may come back, but Chubby's, you need to do better. Love this place. Price is very reasonable. $6.50 for a good sized cheeseburger, which includes a generous pile of fries. For 50 cents more you can get their beer-battered fries and they are absolutely delicious. This place is busy, but the line moves very fast. The staff is very friendly and seem genuinely concerned that you have a great experience while you're there. While we ate our food, 3 different staff members walked by and asked if everything was good and if they could get us anything. Great burger. Great fries. Great fry sauce.

I was super excited to get my lunch there. I red a lot of good reviews about the fries and scones. I wanted the strawberry salad but apparently they stop selling in September(what i understand with strawberries being a seasonal produce. But here's my 1st disappointment) . So i got the cranberry apple salad with raspberry dressing. It was good but i was disappointed i had to go through my salad to remove all the burned salad 😕 I'm ok to do that if i eat at home eventually but not at a restaurant! So i give it a 3 ⭐ instead of 4. The fries were golden and crunchy. The taste wasn't amazing. It was better with the sauce. I ordered the cinnamon scones. I didn't know what to expect since the only scones i know are the little cakes from England. Those are fried so really greasy and heavy. After a salad 😅. The syrup and cinnamon give a better taste but the batter itself doesn't taste anything. Not amazed. Just another fastfood. But I like the salad options. Half a salad was way enough for me.

My nephew recommended this and since he helped me install 12 window plantation shutters, we decided we'd give it a shot. The inside was mostly clean. Just the normal mess of a placed full of people and I believe short staffed. Decorations were fun to look at. We got a couple burgers, a chicken sandwich, side of scones, side of 'baked beans', and a chocolate brownie shake. The burgers and sandwich were really good! The chicken wasn't dry and the toppings made it a great sandwich. The scones very delicious and served with a buttery/pudding spread! Like a custard. The shake was really good. The 'baked beans' (I put them in quotes for a reason) weren't as good as I was hoping. Honestly tasted like what I call Cowboy beans. A can of Pork-n-Beans, hamburger, onion, green pepper and some other spices. Nothing to write home about. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for something new and good food!

I had the extraordinary privilege of dining at Chubby’s Cafe recently, and let me preface this by stating that this establishment is not merely a restaurant—it is a veritable epicenter of culinary excellence and customer service brilliance. From the moment I made my initial phone call to place an order, through to the final bite of my meal, I was utterly enchanted by the seamless orchestration of flavors, service, and ambiance, all of which coalesced into an unparalleled dining experience.

When I first called in to place my order, I was greeted by the most delightful individual named Bailee. Her voice was kind cheerful with a genuine sense of hospitality. She exhibited an impressive level of attentiveness and professionalism, carefully taking my order with an enthusiasm that made the entire interaction feel personal and thoughtful. Bailee’s pleasant demeanor set the tone for the exceptional service to follow and provided a glimpse into the remarkable standards upheld by Chubby’s Cafe.

I ordered a shrimp basket, which came with 12 perfectly fried shrimp that were a revelation for the taste buds. While waiting for my order, I was delighted by the symphony of sounds emanating from the kitchen. I could hear the lively sizzle of the grill and the bubbling of the fryer as they prepared my meal. It was an auditory prelude to what would soon be a feast for the senses. The shrimp were golden, crispy, and seasoned to perfection, striking the ideal balance between tender succulence and satisfying crunch. Boone, the culinary mastermind and shift lead in charge of the cooks, deserves accolades for his ability to craft dishes that are as artful as they are delectable.

Boone’s leadership in the kitchen is clearly reflected in the flawless execution of the meals and the harmony with which the kitchen staff operates. His calm yet commanding presence ensures that every dish is prepared with precision and care, elevating the entire dining experience to a higher plane.

Equally noteworthy was Avery, the shift lead upfront, who embodies the perfect blend of professionalism and approachability. Avery managed to maintain a lively, upbeat atmosphere while simultaneously leading her team with an impressive level of organization and poise. She ensured that every guest was warmly welcomed and that the front-of-house operations ran as smoothly as the kitchen. Her ability to keep things both fun and professional speaks volumes about her leadership skills and dedication to providing top-notch service.

The real magic, however, was observing the entire Chubby’s Cafe team in action. The crew moved with an almost aquatic grace, reminiscent of fish swimming effortlessly through the sea. Each individual performed their role with a synchronized fluidity that reflected exceptional teamwork and leadership. It was a marvel to witness how swiftly and seamlessly the staff operated under the masterful guidance of Joseph, the cafe’s extraordinary manager.

Joseph’s managerial acumen is truly unmatched. His presence on the floor is both commanding and reassuring, as he oversees operations with an effortless confidence that speaks to his deep understanding of hospitality. His interactions with guests are marked by genuine warmth and an infectious enthusiasm, creating an atmosphere that is simultaneously inviting and refined. It is evident that Joseph has fostered a culture of respect, collaboration, and excellence among the staff, ensuring that every customer is treated as a valued guest.

In summation, my visit to Chubby’s Cafe was nothing short of extraordinary. From Bailee’s cheerful professionalism on the phone, to Boone’s culinary brilliance and leadership in the kitchen, Avery’s fun and professional stewardship upfront, and Joseph’s overarching guidance as manager, every aspect of my experience was a testament to the unparalleled standards of this establishment. The swift, harmonious movements of the team brought a unique energy to the cafe that elevated the...

Usually we love Chubbies, but the past few times it has taken too long to get our food. We went in on a Friday at 2:45, there was only one other couple in the building, the tables and floor were all dirty. When we went to order the guy taking our orders did not understand what we were trying to communicate with him. We want a kids meal cheeseburger with a gluten free bun, all he typed in was gluten free and I had to tell him about 3 times that there is a a way to make sure that the gluten free bun is on the order and it's .89 cents, he finally figured it out. Then we ordered a Chubby Deluxe with ketchup only and no pickles or onions. Again, we communicated this over and over that we did not want pickles or onions, just to put ketchup on it. Instead he put no sauce, ketchup only, so it came out with none of the original sauce that they put, the burger had onions and pickles. I did not think we were being confusing with our order. When the kids meal came out it had no fries so I had to remind them that it came with fries, it also took over 20 minutes for 2 burgers to come out with only one other couple in the building. When people are taking orders they need to know the buttons on computer and communicate with the customers if they are confused on...

Chubby's is the most exquisite establishment in the area. Its food is that of a Michelin star chef. The man running the register is a saint that goes by the name of Justin Jones, and his entourage of highly qualified workers were swift like the flowing wind and completed my order in record time. As I watched the workers in the back swiftly make my food, they flowed through the kitchen like fish in the sea. I felt true pride to be a citizen of this blessed country. Just as I was beginning to tear up, the manager named Joseph, who is a saint in his own right, blessed me with a kind and welcoming voice. His voice was only comparable to Bruno Mars. He graciously passed me my food and said, 'Have a wonderful day.' I felt as though I was at Chick-fil-A with how kind they were being, but I knew he meant it. When I arrived at my homestead and opened the white box that was given to me, it was as if heaven itself was in that box. The sweet aroma was alone enough to make a grown man cry. As I bit into my burger I had a revelation. A flashback to my childhood, I was 12 in my backyard eating a burger my dad freshly cooked on his grill. The burger was nostalgia in a bun.Never have I experienced true...
