Swig — Restaurant in Saratoga Springs

I've ordered in-person at this location regularly and have consistently waited 3-5 minutes just for someone to take my order while 4-5 employees mix drinks. Tonight had 3 additional employees in-training and yelling/laughing loudly by their ice machine by the counter. It was 4:30pm and seemed to be their rush hour. Overall very chaotic and bad timing for training.

When I tried to press to have my order taken, the employees at the counter argued with me rather than apologize and quickly take my order. It was a very frustrating interaction and felt attacked/pretty rude so I wanted to leave as quickly as I could. The focus is on the drive through line and not creating a good in-person customer experience.

Pulled up to Swig today and met Shaylee, the drink artist of legends. Told her to whip up a drink for me, and if I liked it, she’d get an immaculately whimsical review. First drink? A mix of coconut, vanilla, and Dr Pepper. Low key mid—but it still had potential.

Came back around, and Shaylee redeemed herself in the most immaculate way. The next drink? Straight fire. I don’t even have words; it slapped so hard, I’m still thinking about it. Shaylee, you’re a 5/5 star icon, and your drinks are the blueprint. No cap.

Swig, y’all better give Shaylee a raise because she’s got the main character energy you need behind the counter.

I haven't been to Swig for a while since there are so many drink places now. These guys were open later tonight than my usual place so I thought I'd try it again. The kids working were all really nice and the service was really fast! My order here was a little more expensive than I'm used to based on other places I go but whatever I know I'm paying too much for a dumb drink but I feel fine about it cause I'm hooked. The thing is though, if you're going to charge me 5 bucks for a 32oz soda and the cup is for real 3/4 full of ice I am not gonna be thrilled about that. Even if it is the super delicious soft...
