Cupbop - Korean BBQ — Restaurant in Saratoga Springs

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience on multiple occasions. I was so excited about this location opening, but I'll NEVER go here again. We've given it 3 separate tries and it's been awful each time. Never going to this location ever again!!!

Tonight, I ordered an ugly bop with extra protein and sauce. No extra protein OR sauce. In fact, my TINY amount of chicken literally wasn't all the way cooked. Disgusting!

Tried to call the store number and it went straight to a FULL voicemail. What a joke!! Tried to complain online to Corporate and that doesn't work, either. Headed back to this store to get my money back. Ridiculous!!!

Tried to upload pictures of my order and UNCOOKED chicken, but for some reason, it won't let me. It's not an option on this review. I really wanted to show how disgusting this place is so others can see why to avoid this place.

I do NOT recommend this location. And honestly, I'm completely grossed out by the idea of eating at any Cupbop location ever again.. whatever you do, though, do NOT eat here. What a complete disappointment! Can't even file a proper complaint.

Cupbop cups are typically full of noodles, cabbage, rice, the customer's choice of sauce spicy-ness, and a protein of the customer's choice. If desired, the customer can alter what comes in the cup, and there are vegetarian and gluten-friendly options. The price is fairly high (for a broke teenager) but typical for restaurants in the area. Sometimes the tables are messy and/or sticky, which is unpleasant. Customer service is iffy whenever I go. Oftentimes, the employee speaks too quietly and keeps a neutral expression. I don’t mind the limited and straight-to-the-point communication, but others may find it offensive that they don’t want to know your whole life story. My biggest issue is the employees don’t wear gloves while putting together your food (they do use tongs). But in the end, it’s worth it because it’s so good. I usually get the B-Bop (beef) and it’s yummy every single time. Take the cup to go and look away when they’re loading your cup and you have an excellent dining experience!

The absolute worst location. They mess up our order every single time. When I told them the order was wrong the lady (I’m guessing she’s the owner) just said well you weren’t charged for that and went as far as to tell me that “this is one scoop” of meat when I said my order was supposed to be extra meat and looked like it had 1.5 scoops instead of even the two scoops it should have had. We got one meal as a kids meal instead of an adult and her response was just that we were charged for a kids meal. What we ordered and what they rang up were either completely different or she just didn’t want to admit to incompetence. Then when I packed up my family to just leave since she was being unhelpful, she came at me saying “I’m trying to help” even though all she had repeated before was saying that we event charged for that and acting like I don’t know how much meat should be put on even though we order the same thing at various locations and only ever have this issue here.
