So we decided to give this place a try. Mind you, we knew this place was a taco restaurant and did not expect much from it. But we dropped $85 (including the $18 tip) for 11 tacos and an order of the masa fried. Sad.... So sad.... They forgot one of our $6 tacos to begin with and I am not driving back there for a six dollar taco and another 30 min wait. Also, the "smoked" meat on 3 of the 4 tacos I ate were horrendous. Seriously, like something I would have gotten from a hospital. Dry to the point that I could barely eat them. I did eat them, because I paid $6 each for them and I am fat, but I am sure I will pay a second and time on the toilet later. Also, on a couple of my wife's, and one of mine, there was this super sweet, corn-syrupy sauce that took over the entire taco. Seriously, the only thing I could taste was whatever that was. Like that sweet n spicy red Asian sauce you dip egg rolls in. Anyways, I gave it more than 1 star because one, one out of FOUR of the tacos I had was actually good, the Memphis Taco (ordered two and got one). That, and my wife and son "liked" their California tacos. Lastly, the tables were not clean, nor were they being cleaned. My son and I waited and watched for 20 min and even as people left, no cleaning. People who came ended up washing their table when they sat down, just like us. Not impressed at all with this place. Will not be going back...
Read moreTook my daughter to go grab some tacos and try the place out. Very friendly staff and super super fast service. I sat down and no more than three or four minutes later our food was ready. The tacos are delicious!! Now for my honest opinion on the tacos specifically. They are a bit expensive but not over the top. Our bill was $30 for four tacos w 5 dollar tip. My honest opinion skip the tip. It’s self service for everything, so really if you’re just paying for your food, then really no need to be tipping unless you feel generous. Two of the tacos were extra meat and two drinks. The tacos themselves are not skimpy pretty decent size. However, if you are watching your calories, you need to ask for all sauces on the side. If you’re a little plump in the pants, and don’t care about that, then take them as they are. Alternatively, to save a few bucks, you could get one taco with extra meat, even triple extra meat and still pay less money than two regular tacos and get the protein not the corn shells and all the other stuff. The vegetarian taco is just filled with cream of corn. I wish I would’ve known that. I thought it was a meat alternative. All in all I’ll definitely go back and just be more cautious on ordering and maybe a custom tip of a...
Read moreI dont know if the tacos are supposed to be cold but thats how they were when I got them. So if that's what they meant to do they nailed it. The flavors were alright but I wouldn't put these and your average tacos in even close to the same genre of food. I don't know what I'd call what I ate but it's definitely not a taco. Their menu looks like they gave a 5 year old free reign of the kitchen, and then just wrote down whatever he managed to put together and gave them flamboyant names. The options are quite complicated both for the coustomer and for the employees. I watched for 30 minutes as employees looked confused as to what they were making and then a prety similar look on the coustomers faces as they picked up their orders. To wich it must be said there was little to no help at the pick up desk the food was placed and button pushed the the employee was back off around the corner leaving coustomers to try and figure out what food was theirs or not. All in all the food was not appetizing enough to justify how confusing it was. And the employees pass along their panic with the way they run it making the experience less...
