I think this local American diner-style joint is a must-visit destination if you happen to be in Saratoga, but not inspiring enough to visit Saratoga for it. We had brunch after a hike nearby and in general were really happy with the food we got. Orange juice was freshly squeezed, the steak omelet was decently tasty, and the churros waffle... did taste like churros. But this place could've been so much more if the chef really prepared the dishes with a bit more discipline in the food. Everything was more neutral blending into one another. It almost felt like the chef had forgotten the recipe or wasn't sure how to shape the flavor. Also other than the orange juice, the ingredients didn't come across as high quality or extremely fresh. Don't get me wrong. We had a great time at the indoor patio. Lovely place for a local brunch. Just not worth seeking after.

What an awful experience! We arrived at 2:23pm (restaurant closes at 3). It took about 10 minutes for them to acknowledge us and seat us. No one else was waiting to be seated. Once seated, the waiter was rude. Told us the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes which surprised us. We hurriedly ordered our food after being told several items were unavailable. We ordered garlic fries to hold us over while we waited for food. The waiter brought us the wrong fries and when we told him, he was annoyed. Our food came out very cold. We ordered French onion soup and the cheese wasn't even melted. My husband ordered chicken and waffles and it was all cold. While we ate they proceeded to start cleaning around us. The smell of ammonia and bleach while we ate was nauseating. Chairs were put up on tables around us. I will never eat here again. We left at 3:03pm.

Came in for brunch on a Saturday, and it was really good! The Red Velvet Pancakes were not only beautiful looking, but delicious and not overly sweet as you would initially expect. The Crepe Santa Cruz had crab inside, topped with shrimp and perfectly served salmon. Both of these dishes were signature items on the menu, so definitely a must try! Also, both the Eggs Benedict and the Turkey, Bacon & Avocado sandwich were really good, with those country potatoes being cooked perfectly. The place was very clean and not too busy on a Saturday morning. We also discovered that it is an old church converted into a restaurant! With fresh, local ingredients and an extensive menu, this place really has something for everyone!

Excellent place for breakfast or lunch. There are plenty of options that all sound delicious, so it's actually kind of difficult to decide. I ended up having the California omelette, which has chicken sausage, avocado, and pesto aioli. You have the choice of sourdough, wheat, or rhy toast. The omelette also comes with potatoes, orange slices, and cantaloupe. The potatoes are well cooked and seasoned, very good with chipotle Tabasco. The omelette itself was well made and the pesto aioli really ties it together. This place has a good atmosphere if you want to sit and talk and enjoy your breakfast. The wait can be a while, but it's worth it.
