A nice casual Italian restaurant that gives a feeling as if you are dining at someone’s living room :), at least the second floor cozy setting feels like that. Salads, sandwiches and coffee were great. The house baked bread tasted delicious. I took off a star as I felt the salads could be richer and have more ingredients, I found them too simple with very few ingredients. Some $18 salads didn’t have even any proteins in it. Otherwise menu looked great. Service was awesome. Servers were very polite and courteous and took good care of us. Interiors as I mentioned felt little rustic with shiny velvet green chairs. Air conditioning was decent with their portable AC with 108 degree outside. Plenty parking nearby with free parking spots in parking lots and street with 1-2 mins walking distance. Overall, a cozy nice restaurant that I definitely would go back to.

When I told the guide that there were 3 people in my group, he took a chair out of the 4-person table he had guided us to and went away, creating a new table for 2 at the entrance. We had serveral bags so we needed his own chair and I appealed, but he told me that we needed 3 chairs for 3 people. The restaurant was never full until we finished our food and left. I don't plan on giving your service more than a 2star. I inquired more than 3 times about the delayed coffee, but to no avail. The reply is very impressive. _____update_____ It was my first visit in seven years. I almost forgot about it, but I found it nearby to meet visitors. When the party said there were three people, they took a chair out of the table for four. I needed a chair because I had a lot of bags, but to no avail. I went there as soon as it opened, so there were quite a few customers, but it wasn't full. I ordered a cup of iced coffee, a cup of regular coffee, and a cup of copper cappuccino, but only cappuccino was served. After the food started to come out, two cups of coffee arrived with a term. It was a fascinating experience. The food is so so. Maybe it's natural that I completely forgot about this place. It's Memorial Day, so we didn't have many choices. If there was an egg Saratoga, we might have felt different.

This 3 star rating is based on the food, which should be the main consideration for the overall rating. Maybe the chef was out, or having a bad day, but everything we ordered barely made it to an average level of taste and presentation. We had the Caprese (discount store Mozzarella, hot house tomatoes, inadequate seasoning, barely a hint of basil, average quality olive oil) and the Artichoke appetizers (flavorful dip!) . Mains - Pesto Gnocchi (bland, glutinous dumplings, pesto cream sauce with little flavor) was below average.. Salmon was not seasoned, but the veggies were nicely grilled. Eggplant parm was acceptable fare and probably the best dish, which is not saying much. The presentation was a mess. We almost skipped dessert at this point, got a complementary scoop of something which the three of us dessert fans did not finish. Our servers and wait staff were excellent, and the ambience inside seemed great. Even the heated patio was excellent. I am a bit tempted to give it a second chance based on all the glowing reviews on OpenTable, but only a wee, wee bit..

Went to this place on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and had the most amazing experience ever! The food was just delicious, the atmosphere was very warm and friendly, and the workers were nothing but kind. We ordered the salmon ravioli and the gnocchi al pesto, both tasted fantastic. The bread they serve is also amazing, and the desserts are very diverse and you have many great options to pick from. Our server, Luca, was extremely helpful and very hospitable. He checked up on us multiple times, gave us his opinions on the dishes, and was super friendly overall. The other servers were also super friendly, and even joked around with us lol. I recommend this place to everyone!

If you have a choice, go to other restaurants in downtown Saratoga. There was a long wait for our appetizers, which we ordered as soon as we sat down. The order for entrées was taken 25 mins later, and the service was so poor we had to ask for olive oil twice, go downstairs to as for water for the table, and go ask for the chq and when no one picked it up for 10 mins go and deliver it ourselves! The gnocchi was super undercooked (slimey), the tomatoe sauce tasted like it came from the can, and the short rib and beef dishes were only OK. At the prices they charge, heartbreaking. The warm bread is yummy, and the pasta in the dishes was cooked well.

I am favor of relatively less oily and less sodium and sugar food ( not blend, just normal sweet and salty). And this restaurant offered oily meals (maybe not all of them were oily). You can literally taste the oil, which makes you couldn’t eat more. There are always many tips to lower the oily texture without lower the volume of oil, but they didn’t adopt any properly. Besides, some staffers served great and nice, but the girl standing on the front desk, appeared rather unhappy and didn’t offer any information (even though you are standing in front of her, you still have to check your google to find essential reservation information).
