Springtime Fun at Wildwood Park

I walk through this park daily with the dogs that I walk and care for... the moment I park and start walking over the bridge I feel relaxed & happy. The river is so calming, the trees are lush & beautiful, the smell of eucalyptus... There is a huge grass area for dogs & kids to run around. There is a FUN playground (I used to take my kids here when they were little - Girl Scout events, picnics, BBQs, birthday parties!) There is an are where you can play horseshoe. There is a large sand volleyball area where the net is dedicated to our famous volleyball player from Saratoga, Kerri Walsh. There are nice clean bathrooms. Lots of BBQ areas to hold a family & friends event. And a large stage area where you can sometimes see community plays, kids practicing for musicals and regular community live music events where you can bring your chairs & a picnic on the grass to enjoy the fun! All in all, this is, hands down, one of my favorite parts of Saratoga. ❤️

❇️Wildwood Park, Saratoga 🌳This hidden gem in Saratoga is so close to bustling downtown. 🛝Quiet and serene park with a well-maintained playground. Slides, teeter totter, climbing net and a sandpit for kids to play. 🎭There is a wooden stage at the end of grassy field – great for pretend play or for kids to practice their talents. 🌊 Creek-side fun: flowing creek right next to the park. 🧺Relax at the picnic tables or benches while kids play. 🏐A sand volleyball court and lush grassy area for kids to run, play ball, 🪁 fly kite etc 🌞 Find pockets of shade at the corners of grassy field that are perfect for picnics on a sunny day. 🅿️Yes (Limited spots; an easy 5-minute walk from downtown parking) 🚻Yes ☕For coffee and eats, head to Big Basin Café, just a short stroll away. A popular place in the heart of downtown Saratoga. Nice selection of quiches, all day breakfast menu and in-house roasted organic coffee.

Went there for Bollywood in the Park event last weekend. This park is in such a beautiful locality. Lush green with benches for guests to rest on while kids have fun over slides. You have a walk/ descend a bit from the main road after you find yourself a parking spot. There are many cafes and restaurants to explore after you are done with kids playing around too much. There is a small creek as well at the entrance to the park.

Beautiful. Exceptionally clean 2 stoll bathrooms that are big enough for a stroller. Plush grass area adjacent to a children's double slide and park for mixed ages. Large grown shade trees. A near by creek that has signs posted about pestiside spraying that was unclear for creek or park areas. Free parking on both sides of creek. There are picnic tables and a large BBQ, plus a single small one. Seems quite relaxing.

A small park, with a unique ropes based play structures the kids will absolutely love! The green space is auornd one football field sized, with shaded areas. There are bbq pits and benches you can reserve. The creek runs along the entrance, you can go down and the kids can wet their feet - very cool. There are also some horseshoe pits, and a stage area. Couple of different parking areas, and road parking, available.
