I walk through this park daily with the dogs that I walk and care for... the moment I park and start walking over the bridge I feel relaxed & happy. The river is so calming, the trees are lush & beautiful, the smell of eucalyptus... There is a huge grass area for dogs & kids to run around. There is a FUN playground (I used to take my kids here when they were little - Girl Scout events, picnics, BBQs, birthday parties!) There is an are where you can play horseshoe. There is a large sand volleyball area where the net is dedicated to our famous volleyball player from Saratoga, Kerri Walsh. There are nice clean bathrooms. Lots of BBQ areas to hold a family & friends event. And a large stage area where you can sometimes see community plays, kids practicing for musicals and regular community live music events where you can bring your chairs & a picnic on the grass to enjoy the fun! Read moreLovely park was visited on a late saturday afternoon. Park was pristine! Looked like a fresh layer of wood chips on playground floor, all apparatus was in good operating condition. Cute little ravine with a stream running through it. Ramps over stream for wheelchairs and strollers and paved paths. Only experienced the playground so there might be much more to park. Beautiful mature trees offered respite from heat. Nice touch with plaques dedicating trees to individuals. Did not go into restrooms but it was nice to see real bathrooms be available. Only downside was very tight parking lot. Park was also convenient to quaint downtown area, offering many opportunities to grab a bite. I...
