Put this on your list of good places to meet with friends and enjoy great food and drink in a casual atmosphere. Nice selection of craft beers. Excellent service. Secret#1 It's not mentioned anywhere Besides the wide variety of "burgers" on the menu, you can ask your server for a "build your own burger" form. They'll bring you a sheet of paper that lists the multitude of available options neatly organized with check circles. Every item is individually priced. There are options that don't appear on the menu simply because of the sheer number of choices . Of note: if you want a salmon filet, it's only on the custom order sheet. Quite yummy! You can also order without a bun or bread and you get a beautifully presented entree. I ordered the Ahi Tuna burger with no bun. It comes with a carrot/Daikon aiouli that isn't on the custom order form! It was fantastic! Grilled and seared,,deep red center just warm. Portions are generous and the food is rich and flavorful. Really dense and VERY fresh. No hint of any off texture or odor that is so common when AHI is ordered anywhere other than a high quality Sushi bar. Hugely satisfying 😁😁 and enough to have to work to finish it (A labor of love, best tackled with a craft beer from their variety on tap).❤❤❤ Shared plate of garlic fries easily enough for 4. Three of us feasted on them during the brief time that it took for our main courses to arrive. At least it seemed brief. We were having SO much fun. Secret#2 Go for a late lunch or early dinner! If you're lucky grab one of the few tables out front. They have Happy Hour discounts on Beer and some special food choices. The prices are reasonable especially for the quality of the food and preparation. Happy hour is a bonus that helps the budget just enough to come back more often. This place is a GREAT RESTAURANT and BAR It's a bit of a sleeper. Monday it was relatively quiet. The staff assured us that we were welcome to stay as long as we wished as our late lunch extended through dinner. Very kind of them as it was a long overdue reunion of sorts. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ HIGHLY...

As the name suggests, Big Basin Burger Bar offers a variety of signature burgers along with rice bowls and salads for anyone looking for something different. They offer a impressive variety of proteins on their menu including bison, the impossible burger, and a vegan option - so there's truly something for everyone!
We arrived late afternoon on a Monday, with plenty of seating options to choose from (both inside and outside), we elected to sit outside to enjoy the summer day. We went with the French Moo burger and the BLT Gobble Club. Now, what burger meal is complete without fries, so of course we had to get some as well. I was torn between their regular french fries and their sweet potato fries (a personal favorite of mine), but fortunately they provide a half & half option to get both so I didn't have to choose.
The French Moo burger was an instant favorite with the symphony of flavors provided by the unique combination of creamy brie cheese, peppery arugula and salty pancetta. While I did enjoy their BLT Gobble Club overall, I did find the patty to be a bit dry (but to be fair it is turkey). In the future I'll likely go with one of their tried and true burger option instead of this sandwich.

Swung in randomly after a long day of hiking in Big Basin. We were dehydrated, tired, and extremely hungry after a 13 mile trek.
You order at the counter, pay, then they'll give you a number and someone will bring your food when your order is up.
I got the French Moo and my bf got the Peppercorn burger (can't remember it's name). Our friends got the impossible burger and the peppercorn burger too along with garlic truffle fries and onion rings.
Sides came first, and the fries were everything I wanted and more. Great flavor, crispy, not too salty or greasy... I now had high hopes for the burger. The onion rings had great crunch and weren't greasy either but the breading was a bit thick. Didn't even taste the onion. But the fries were so bomb dot com I looked past it.
Burgers took a long time to arrive so by the time they did, I was really hungry. Really disappointed. Burgers were super duper well done. That's not even close to the medium rare I ordered.
Upon further inspection of the group, every burger was severely overcooked. Every burger lacked flavor. Peppercorn burger weirdly had no peppercorns, and the peppercorn sauce was a super thick gravy-like concoction. Thankfully that comes on the side.
Overall if you like well done, flavorless burgers, then this is your spot. At least their fries...
