The staff that we interacted with were very friendly and pleasant. Our waitress was on point with welcoming us, getting drinks, taking orders, and refilling our drinks without asking.
The atmosphere is very comfortable. The lighting is perfect..not too bright, not too dim. The background music was a good volume, with a nice mix of music. The restaurant is small, but the open concept design makes it feel larger than what it is. There's a downstairs area with high top tables and game machines. Since the kitchen is viewable from the bar area, and the restaurant is open, I did leave smelling like a grill. It's not a huge issue unless I'm going somewhere afterward where I wouldn't want that strong smell on me.
We ordered The Dagmar and Di Lileo Pasta. I was hoping for a nice, juicy piece of chicken in my sandwich. Unfortunately, the chicken was dry and tough. I also wanted a little more spice in the spicy slaw. I loved the housemade pickles. The side of fries was soggy. I'm not sure if they are supposed to be more of a soft potato wedge, but I prefer my fries crispy. The pasta had great flavor, but the sauce was runny. We prefer a creamy sauce. It was $50 for two dinners (including the tip) with no alcohol, no dessert. Seems a little bit pricy. Although, everything is expensive now.
Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. We would go again, but try something different on the menu. Maybe the...
Read moreOur first time here and very disappointed with the service, the food on the other hand was phenomenal! Kudos to the young chef! Unfortunately, we won't be back, the bartender seemed to be under the influence of something, in our opinions, bar had about 9 other customers besides us, she was very slow at getting our drinks, did not offer us menus, did come back so we could ask for menus, the owner was at the bar and seemed to be oblivious to all this. The bartender was talking on her phone several times, and texting while others food was sitting getting cold, after the chef had rang the bell several times for her to deliver food. We needed more drinks, our food had sat for over 7 minutes after the infamous bell ring, and she said she was going to go out for a smoke break if we didn't need anything, I said our food is up, we need drinks, so yes, we need her services. Again, we enjoyed our food, but then again watched as our friends from across the bar food was sitting after bell ring for over 10 minutes....she also acknowledged to two other customers that she forgot to wait on them...and laughed...my partner and I, both being bartenders for several years, were more than disappointed. Sadly, we won't be back, maybe would...
Read moreIt was our first time and definitely our last. Reviews were pretty good so I decided to try it with my dad and kids on Fatherâs Day. The soda tasted gross and flat, we sat there watching a mouse run around in the downstairs area the whole time, the burgers were burnt and chips were over seasoned and soggy and they brought out our appetizer when our food came and not before. It was not busy at all just a few people at the bar, but yet it took almost an hour to get two adult meals and two kids meals. The waitress was nice but so disorganized and inattentive. The table we sat at we had to wipe off with a napkin when we first sat down, had to ask for kids menus because she didnât offer it, had to ask for silverware because it wasnât offered either. Maybe we just came on a bad day or maybe it was shorter staffed, although I seen plenty of staff, so I donât know. Just not worth the high price I paid for food we only half ate because it wasnât good and service and...
