As a former fast food employee of many years and simultaneous full time college student, working two jobs with health issues, I understand the frustration of customers arriving near closing time. However, I was disappointed when I visited Subway Saturday August 10th at 8:45 PM and was abruptly told they were closed by a male employee who made a cutting motion across his neck. This was not just impolite but also inconsistent with corporate standards. I noticed its the same few male individuals as the last few times I have come here and their “I don't give a cr*p” attitude is why I will no longer be coming here anymore.
I believe employees in customer service should strive to provide a positive experience, even in challenging situations. Instead of turning me away, they could have offered to prepare my order or provided a clear explanation. I hope the manager will address this issue and ensure that customers receive the service they expect from Subway. When you work for another company that is who you are representing and it is not your personal decision when to close the restaurant. Not at 8:45, 8:30 or 8:55 but 9pm. I showed her my receipt on my phone that had their location and that it was paid for. She again told me to place and pay for another order and maybe that one will go through. This place is a ripoff.
