I called DQ on 12-28 to order a cake for my son's birthday on 12-29. The guy gave me his rundown...they'd need a 48 hour notice to do a custom cake...that they had a bunch of pre-made cakes in their display case that I could choose from...that someone would be there to write a birthday message on the cake if I wanted them to. I thought the conversation went well and I told him I'd be in the next day to pick something out. When we got there the following day, the doors were locked. There was a guy cleaning up in the dinning room, so my husband knocked on the doors and pointed to the cake refrigerator. The guy motioned to him that we'd have to go through the drive through. I was a little confused, but I figured once we went through the drive through and told them why we were there, they'd let us in the side door so we could pick out a cake. Unfortunately, that's not what happened. When I got to the drive through and began to explain to the gal on the intercom how I had called the night before and was told that I could come into the store to pick out a cake, I was interrupted by a guys voice YELLING into the intercom, "THAT WAS ME AND I NEVER SAID YOU COULD COME INTO THE STORE." Ok, in all fairness, he's correct. He did not use the word "store", but to be fair to me as well, when someone say's, "You can come in and pick out a cake", you take them literally. You don't expect that the doors will be locked, that you'd have to go through the drive through and order a cake sight unseen, or that you'd get yelled at because of a misunderstanding. A simple, "I'm sorry for the confusion", would have gone a long way. Instead I was yelled at! Who does that? Whatever happened to people being nice to each...
Read moreDidn't receive proper items on a signature burger... 😕 didn't get napkins, didn't get ranch with my cheese curds nor did they give me a chance to ask for them while ordering- I always ask for it just incase it doesn't come with. Didn't even give us a straw for our sodas..... it comes with the straw lid not the sipping lid. The cheese curds were overdone with no cheese left in it, the pretzel sticks were rock hard.
Paid almost $40. Couldn't give us napkins, couldn't give us ranch for the cheese curds or let us ask for anything else after getting the to go food. They just walked away and when we tried to politely catch their attention legit said excuse me miss completely ignored me and wouldn't come back.
Idk if imma spend almost $40 on food to not get anything right, not even get napkins or the simple sides like ranch with cheese curds... just spend the money to go to a better restaurant or culvers? Idk I wasted my money and won't come back. 😅
Dinner/night staff extremely rude and dismissive. Reading other reviews it sounds like it's a permanent matter for the night shift. 👀👀👀👀👀👀 just saying. Yikes. Fix it or you'll definitely feel the outcome of the poor service within a few years in the books. 🤷♀️ or don't. Whatever, I'll hear about it when it closes...
Read moreWe went to Dairy Queen for ice cream..we showed up 15 mins before close. We went inside. Soon as we walked in, this short girl with black hair rolled her eyes, then the manager, Nate, came out and said “oh great I have to open this register again.” Which is obviously extremely rude. Then we ordered and they said they close in fifteen minutes. Fair enough. However, after that, between the girl and the boy working there, they kept counting down by two minutes to announce how many minutes left until close..which is so rude. The boy even proceeded to tell us they close in THIRTY seconds. I was with my five year old nephew and he even recognized how rude the entire three staff were. This was by far the worst customer service and so very unprofessional. The girl taking the order also messed it up, that’s okay we are human! BUT then when we asked for her to give us the ice cream in the come as we requested for my nephew she rolled her eyes, said that is not what we ordered and then finally came back with the come but basically slammed it on the table. We went in on August first for reference. The closing staff was...
