McDonald's — Restaurant in Sault Ste. Marie

First off the girl who took our order was distracted by a couple of young guys behind us, my take was she thought at least one of them was cute so she completely messed up twice our order and we had to repeat it 3 times. Then she gave us the wrong size drink cups for our order. So being young once I looked past that and waited for our order to be delivered to the table, we had 3 Frys 2 burgers and I had a sausage McMuffin and the Frys were ice cold and the sausage McMuffin was so stale it was obvious it was a left over from the morning it was a bit past 1 or so when we ordered. I personally do not eat at McDonald's because the quality of the fresh food the serve leads a lot to be desired but my daughter wanted McDonald's and even she threw her meal away of our total $15 ordered for 3 people less that 1 sandwich between us all was eaten and we threw all 3 Frys away, we did drinkour cokes on the way to another restaurant for lunch. Wish I could give zero stars. Stopped here after being on the road for 8 hours with our 18 month old. Figured it would be a great place to stop and have a meal and they have the playground so she could run around. My husband had to ask 3 times for lids for our drinks because there was none. Everyone around us was complaining their orders were wrong including us. It started out that we were the only ones in the play area and then a girl walks in with no children and sits down. I’m assuming it was her boyfriend walks in shortly after and he was an employee at McDonald’s. He starts cussing and they were making out which is not appropriate for a designated kids area. I went to use the bathroom before we left and there was no toilet paper in the women’s restroom. And last but not least the floor in the kitchen was absolutely disgusting. Trash and food all over the floor. Completely unacceptable and we will not...

The reason I say that the service is poor is because the front line employees have seemed to take up eye contact service. Meaning that they will not start typing in your order until you have completed reciting the order to them. Which in turn causes them to ask you to repeat your order several times. They stare at you blankly while you spout off your order and then, they are confused when they finally go to enter your order. Several times I have had to repeat my order and then they repeat it back to me, sometimes still not correct and often times getting the wrong food in the end. I do not like this way of service. Please by all means, start typing in my order while I am ordering so I know you are getting it right if not the first time, at least by the second...
