Hidden gem! Beautiful people work here. They're kind, helpful and they're looked like they belong in this happy join and that they're content to assist people with their friendly smiles and the food they proudly serve.
They're quite artsy with many local artists hanging their work of arts on the wall. Love the corner seat bench with cushion. Perfect spot for a simple meal, but uniquely different from experience. They have created their own things here for sure.
Among many things to order, must get the Pretzel w/stone ground mustard and Beer Cheese. Must try the Beer Cheese, it's so UmUm good!! it's not what you think. Better yet, come Saturday for a FREE pretzel w/beer cheese with purchase of any adult beverage!
Breakfast Quiche: Egg, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms baked in a puff pastry case. Pastry with layers of goodness, then bite into the proteins. Fabulous! Sausage Roll: Seasoned sausage wrapped in a puff pastry. Again, that airy puff pastry. Delight!
Fairy Juice: Butterfly pea, brut & hand-squeezed lemonade, for a magical color-changing experience. Truly an unique tea with purple color and taste refreshing at the same time sensing the positive vibe. Very cool!!
That Matcha Latte: warm served is probably one of the best we have had. (And we had lots as it's one our obsession's drinks) The light taste of the real green tea with a hint of sweet, and the foam with the drawing of art is really worth getting. They really put an effort and ensure their customers feel care for with smiley faces (doesn't matter it you're big or small ... or the four legs one,...
Read moreVisiting Savannah on vacation I brought my daughter and her boyfriend to eat a late breakfast here. I ordered a Mexican Mocha and it was hot and delicious. I also ordered a pasty and it was flaky and delicious. We all ordered dine in, and in addition I ordered 1 chocolate croissant to go . All of our food came out at different times, which was kind of strange and annoying. I finished my food before my daughters chocolate croissant was brought out in a to go bag. (I already had a to go bag with mine at the table) her's was in a to go bag so so she told the server it was for here and asked her to warm it up. Then when it was delivered back out to her, the plate was very hot! She just about got burned by the plate. My suggestion is to warm it up on another plate then serve it on a fresh plate.
Her boyfriend ordered a cinnamon bun and it was very dark, over baked, hard and not very good but he did not want to complain, he ate it anyways.
My daughters vanilla chai latte was made with Oat Milk and she loved that! She said it...
Read moreAlexander's Bistro in Savannah turned out to be a decent stop during our trip. The atmosphere was quite nice, striking a good balance between being lively yet not overly busy. It had a small and cozy feel to it, which made for a comfortable setting.
The service at Alexander's Bistro was great. We were assisted by a friendly gentleman who was attentive to our needs throughout the meal. It's always a plus when the staff contributes positively to the dining experience.
Food-wise, the experience was good. My wife had the vegan meatball sub, which she enjoyed, and I went for the Pork Brisket Sandwich. Both dishes were served promptly, and the quality was solid. While the food was enjoyable, it didn't particularly stand out as the highlight of our trip.
In conclusion, if you find yourself in Savannah and looking for a place with a pleasant atmosphere and good service, Alexander's Bistro is a decent choice. It offers a comfortable dining experience, especially if you're in the mood for a quick...
