I’ll start by saying this would be a one star review but the food truck experiences have been wonderful so that’s why this review is three stars and not one. Make sure to be ready to spend some money on basic BBQ. We went to the restaurant since we were in town and thought it would be a great experience and food would be delicious like the food truck. We walked in and the hostess was able to sit us down. We ordered our drinks. I ordered a cup of Brunswick stew which was not to bad. I ordered the bbq sandwich with Cole slaw on it and pickles with a side of fries and my wife got the pimento cheese chicken sandwich and we ordered a side order of Mac and cheese for my son. The Mac and cheese is the whole reason why we went because it’s amazingly delicious in the past once again from the food truck. Well we never received straws for our drinks and we never saw our waitress again until we received our food. We finally got our straws with our food. First thing I noticed was how small the side of Mac and cheese was for the price absolutely ridiculous. We tried the Mac and cheese and it was terrible. It definitely seemed left over and was not fresh and we were at the restaurant around 12:15 so right in the middle of lunch so everything should have been fresh. The bbq sandwich was very chunky meet not pulled or chopped I don’t even know how to describe the cut and I am a BBQ guy so I know how BBQ should be cut up. The flavor on the bbq was okay and the sauce wasn’t that great. I will say the fries and homemade ketchup were delicious. I am not sure if they had other bbq sauces or not I was hoping so. Mine came with a small cup of sauce and it wasn’t that great. I would have loved to try another sauce. My wife said the pimento cheese chicken sandwich was okay nothing to be happy about. While we were finishing up our food I noticed three things that about drove me crazy and if I was the owner I would want to be made aware of with the wait staff. First our cups never were refilled even sitting at end of the table empty to be noticed. Two the waitress working the tables next to us kept touching the tops of the cups that people were drinking out of when food was being placed on the table because they were in the way. I’m fine with moving a cup or asking for it to be moved but don’t touch the top of the cup. Third the hostess was on the cell phone the whole time scrolling or taking selfies with different poses. Your at work shouldn’t be taking selfies. Definitely will not be back to the restaurant but hopefully will enjoy our next meal from...

Yesterday, 7/30/2021 was my first and last time eating/ordering food from this restaurant. I decided to place my order online. I ordered 1/4 lb of smoked spare ribs, daily muffin, baked beans and mac & cheese. I entered the restaurant and stood waiting for someone to greet me and direct me to where I could pick up my food. I observed a waiter and waitress attending to customers that were dinning in. I also observed staff standing in an area towards the back. A waitress and I made eye contact. She asked if I was picking up an order and directed me to where I needed to go. As I was walking to the bar area, there was a white older man sitting at a table at the front of the restaurant on my right. As I passed him, he said “I would’ve waited until she got off the phone.” I turned back and looked at him to see who he was. He appeared to be another customer. He was wearing blue jeans and a blue plaid shirt. I turned back around and proceeded to the bar. Staff greeted me and went to check on the status of my order. They informed me, there were a few orders ahead of my order. As I stood waiting for my food, I observed the older white male that made the smart comment greeting customers as they entered the restaurant and seating them in the dinning area. I was appalled that he was an employee. He was at the front of the restaurant when I entered however he didn’t bother to greet and/or try to assist me. Based on his comment from earlier, I assume it’s because I was on my phone. I was on the phone the entire time I was there and it didn’t interfere with me being alert and engaging with the other staff. People are entitled to their opinions and can say what they want however when you’re at work you keep your comments to yourself. If his job is to greet customers and assist them, then he needs to greet ALL customers when they enter the restaurant and assist them regardless if they’re on the phone or not. I can see if I was on the phone and he was trying to assist me and I wasn’t paying attention. Then I would understand if he waited until I got off the phone. That was not the case. I was alert and looking for someone to assist me. As far as the food, the ribs and mac and cheese were delicious. The baked beans were over cooked; they tasted burnt and the muffin was undercooked; it was gooey...

This was my first time visiting the restaurant. The store is clean, seating was nice and there was a nice bar area. Our waitress was on point at first and very nice. I ordered smoke chicken and my guy ordered the BBQ sandwich. I knew it was going to be bad when my side salad came on a tray on top of a plastic piece of paper. Wet salad items/ranch dressing don't need to be laid on top of plastic, it ended up tearing and getting in my salad. Still had high hopes for the chicken. The meal was served and we dug in, the fries were slightly soggy and salty, I didn't eat them. On to the chicken, it was definitely smoked/blackened, I had the white meat. It was served with a small side of the "original" BBQ sauce which I grabbed a piece of meat and dipped and WOW, straight vinegar! Still thinking positive, I dipped another piece and vinegar taste again. Now, I'm from the South, I've never had BBQ that was so vinegary, so NASTY. If you do decided upon a sauce DON'T get original. I proceeded to eat the chicken without the sauce and had to take several sips of tea along the way because it was EXTREMELY dry. The chicken was great though despite all that. Sometime after we were served, our waitress went MIA and we had to ask another server for an additional beer and our check. We thought she had quit and walked out, she ended up coming back with our check and told us to "have a great night" (how convenient), we tipped well and left. We won't return, hopefully for future customers you will learn from our experience. We noticed the "Pepper Sauce" jar looked funny, I've never seen white peppers in a jar, it looked funny because they are supposed to be greenish. We came to the conclusion that possible they are just adding juice/ sauce back into the jar because they looked swole and old. Also the Dollar Tree decorations on the table could be upgraded since so much money went into the...
