Viet Huong — Local services in Savannah

DO NOT SPEND ANY MONEY HERE. When I was living in Savannah a few years ago, I went to this store. When I went in, the woman and a man were in there stacking soda crates in the isle.

While I was in line holding some items to purchase behind a couple at the counter, the stack of glass bottles fell behind us in the isle. The woman was SO rude and immediately started YELLING and blamed ME for the stack falling when she wasn't even looking. I asked for them to look at the video footage of the store and they would see I didn't even touch it or go near it, not even down the isle. They threatened to call police and I actually said YES please call them, this is ridiculous.

The couple in front of me witnessed everything, and they could tell I was just a college student and was about to cry cause I was being yelled at by this woman and they offered to pay for the soda so they would leave me alone when it was no one's fault but the store's. The sodas were poorly stacked, and they fell. End of story. DO NOT GO HERE - OWNERS ARE SO RUDE...

Best Asian market in Savannah. It has everything you could possibly think of, and then some. Their refrigerated foods and produce are always super fresh which is huge in my book. Plus the prices aren’t bad. They have all the treats, sauces, literally anything you could think of. HUGE noodle selection, I was able to make the famous Ram-Don from Parasite thanks to this store lol. It’s not a huge sized store, like if you’re used to going to the huge Asian markets in Atlanta, um this is Savannah. Lol. The size is decent though! I took one star off because the owner is never particularly friendly. I’ve been going to this market for YEARS and I’ve never even got a hello lol. I have noticed though that he will talk to certain other customers… hmmm… idk. The rest of the staff is friendly and helpful though. I just don’t think it would kill the owner to greet EVERY one who comes in his store.. instead of just certain groups of people. Lol he doesn’t know I’m conducting a social experiment...

I finally made it here and no lie I was a kid in a candy store. They're small but to the point! They had everything I needed and I'm going back this weekend to stock up for the month.

The things that are hard to find are nestled away in here like Kewpie Mayo (the best Mayo on the planet), the Samyung Buldak sauces in the jar and they had three flavors instead of the usually one or two that I see, they also had the Korean corn dogs in the frozen section half mozz half tteokbokki which I love, a variety of different lays chip flavors you've never tasted, they have just enough here to make my day.

The customer service was unexpected and great. I'll definitely be a regular here especially since it's basically the only one in Savannah that really caters to the Korean side.

This is my happy place, they have everything I need to take me to Seoul and back all in...
