Cute place to hang out. Food looked good. However I spilled in my purse and couldn’t get anyone to help me with a napkin. Was ignored for 5 minutes by an employee who was just standing directly in front of me folding silverware at the pizza spot. She finally greeted me and I asked for napkins. She grabbed a handful of napkins but instead of handing them to me, she looked at me and said, napkins are for customers only and she put them back down. Wow. My bad. I had barely gotten there, it was my first time and I hadn’t even had a chance to think about where I wanted to eat yet. There was no need to be so rude. So I ask her, Do you know where I can get napkins then? Is it allowed anywhere here? She says the bathroom. Ok great, and I had to ask where that was as well, (if I had known that, I would’ve just checked the bathroom in the first place.) She pointed it out. It was like pulling teeth to get the info from her. Would’ve been nice to just be treated with a little empathy and kindness. No napkins in the bathrooms either. I ended up having to wash my purse in the sink and dry it with an air dryer. Meanwhile, this was a wag-o-ween event and I have my young son with me, and two dogs circling me and tangling their leashes while I’m trying to do all this. It wasn’t a very welcoming or inviting experience at all. The event coordinators did a much better job of welcoming us for Wag O Ween. Thanks to them the day went much better and we ended up having fun. I’ll try the other park next time though! I understand I’m not entitled to free napkins. It’s the attitude that got me. And if she had helped me, I was going to get my son some of their pizza. Never will now. I prioritize service over everything...
Read moreStarland Yard came highly recommended by a friend, and boy, did it live up to the hype. From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was buzzing with energy and good vibes. While I wish people were more inclined to mingle with others outside their group, it's undeniably a social hotspot where striking up conversations with strangers is easy and enjoyable.
Now, let's talk about the food. My friend insisted I try the hotdog from her favorite food truck, and even though I'm not usually a hotdog person, I'm so glad I did. It was a game-changer! And those french fries? Oh my goodness, they were next-level delicious. I found myself craving them for days afterward, even going so far as to make a 30-minute walk just to get my fix. Trust me, those fries are worth every step, and they might just haunt your dreams.
One thing I love about Starland Yard is how convenient everything is. The ID card system, similar to Topgolf's, makes ordering and paying a breeze. No need to fumble with wallets—just show your ID, get your wristband, and charge everything to your tab. It's the perfect setup for socializing without the hassle of constant transactions.
Cleanliness is another standout feature. The place is spotless, with minimal trash and a family-friendly atmosphere during the day that seamlessly transitions to a lively scene at night. It's the perfect spot to unwind, catch up with friends, and indulge in some delicious eats.
In conclusion, Starland Yard is a gem of a spot that I wholeheartedly recommend. Swing by, check out the food trucks, and let me know what you think!

Read moreFinally posting this after over a year because I'm still upset about the experience. Came to Tybee Island for a bachelorette in March 2021 and was super excited to give the bride a fun night in Savannah. After Ubering almost an hour in traffic to get to Starland Yard, we waited in a long line to get in.
The guys checking IDs let us know that they were using some new iPhone app to check IDs and that it wasn't working quite how they had hoped. They had to scan each ID 3-4 times before it would register properly. I was 29 years old at the time and handed my DMV issued ID over. They told me that it was saying it was "fake" and that they couldn't let me in. The same happened to the bride who was 28 years old. It should be noted that the girl behind me who could barely stand up got in just fine despite clearly having too much to drink.
Naturally, we were frustrated, as the rest of our group had gotten in and both of us were way past the legal age of drinking. We were directed to speak to the hostess who was very sweet but "couldn't help us". I then asked to speak to her manager, who ultimately refused to come out and speak with us. I let them know that I would call the non-emergency police line and ask if someone could come out to accurately check IDs, which they begged us not to do.
We ultimately decided that this place wasn't worth our time and went somewhere else. Ultimately one of the worst experiences I've ever had at an establishment that gets...
