Yummy Cafe — Restaurant in Savannah

I placed a take out order tonight, just steamed vegetables dinner and chicken with broccoli. It was served on top of rice which is not the norm. I was very upset because the portion of the 2 dinners together of actual chicken and the vegetables barely totalled 1 meal. I went back to complain because I was so mad and to order a side of vegetables and chicken to add to the dinners I already purchased. BUT, THEY WERE SO NICE. They happily added to the dinner, apologized and would not let me pay. They handled the situation so wonderful that I put the money in the tip jar that I planned to use to pay for the addition. Anyone and any business can have an off night or make a mistake but what matters is how it's handled. They were great and that's all I expect, if it isnt right...make it right! They did. That matters more than anything else to me because at some point everyone Will make a mistake. (Plus I'm pretty sure I over reacted, it is a full moon tonight). Never in my life have I had someone mess up tofu so badly. It is TOFU for goodness sake.. I went in to order so that I could ask questions to ensure that what I got was what I thought it was, and the employee taking my order could not even understand what I was asking to properly answer my BASIC questions about the preparation of the tofu. There was no effort to understand what I wanted, and they tried to ring me up for more food than I was asking for. Overall, the food was terrible. Not even worth the hassle to get it. Would NOT recommend for my dog, let alone a human. Best thing I got was the white steamed rice. I came to order some lunch for me and my boss and the guy who was cooking was told by 3 women their chicken was bad and complained about it the whole entire time I was waiting on my food. So when it was time for me to get my food all I did was ask for a extra bag to separate the food and he put his hand in my food and started yelling at me cause he was mad with those ladies and started pushing me and telling me to get out because of the sauce for two people.
