McDonald's — Restaurant in Saybrook

I have visited this location in the last couple of days as I am stock in the PILOT TRAVEL CENTER due to the blizzard in the Erie County and Buffalo, NY area. Service is a little slow, but that is business as usual in all McDonald's.

I have to say that the crew are very friendly and polite. Seems like they get along pretty good as I saw some off duty employees stopping by the day after Christmas to say hello to their team mates.

The restaurant looks clean and even though it has been snowing a lot as a said they are keeping the floors dry and up kept.

I am more of a Burguer King guy, but the McDonald's Fries are difficult to beat, that why I stopped by yesterday afternoon and got me a McChicken and a Soda to go with it. Their average quality, the fries sadly were a mixed of fresh batch with the previous batch so it was a boomer.

Now the great disappointment was this morning when I saw in the menu "STEAK" 🥩, Eggs and Cheese Biscuit and McGridle too... I have to try it!!

Well, if you can call a processed Hamburger Patty a Steak than it was correct. Please, please don't hurt steaks lovers feelings this way. A Hamburger Patty is a "Salisbury Steak" at best. And Steak Lovers will tell you Salisbury is not a real steak. And priced at $5.75 is an armed robbery.

Don't get me wrong, I do love 💕 Hamburgers 💕. After a good Steak 🥩 a Hamburger 🍔 is the next best thing for a beef lover.

But if you offer a Steak,Egg and Cheese sandwich I expect solid beef cut not a...

This McDonald's was HORRIBLE! We waited a long time (pulled over) for our order and when it arrived, it was wrong. We were short one beverage. Instead of getting the drink for us, she said we would have to pull around and go thru the drive thru line AGAIN! At that point there were probably TEN cars in the line and it was a blizzard. ..snowing really hard and we were anxious to get back on I-90 to get home to Lorain County. We checked and double checked the order board when we placed the order because we had small children in the car and wanted to make sure they got what they ordered. The Mc Donald's person who delivered our order to the car, she said the receipt only listed two beverages. We offered to pay her for the third SMALL coke, but she said it was company policy that we had to re-go through the drive thru and re-order.......really, for a SMALL coke? I stop at a McDonald's somewhere, about 4-5 times a week. I have NEVER had a complaint until NOW!!!!! We travel I-90 about twice a month and we will never stop there again. ...maybe another McDonald's or a Burger King, but never there. Laurel...

Iv been to a few McDonald's and I'm not a fastfood kinda person but this one in particular did a good job, food was fresh didn't mess up my order which each and every damn other one I go to does lol. My fries 🍟 were fresh didn't have the potato burt right out of them and wasn't chewing on a raw potato like most McDonald's my wife goes to does to my food 😡 they didn't put a small fry into a huge box like they always do either makes me wanna fight somebody 🤣🤷. This particular McDonald's did a good job good atmosphere clean and fresh food for fast food. Again I can't really stand fast food but they did good 👍👍. Credit goes to those who deserve it. My family was passing through to visit we decided to meet here and get a quick bite to eat. Food came out fast and got everyone back on the road promptly.
