1882 On Desmond — Restaurant in Sayre

Service was awful. Family of 5 adults, a 6 yr old and a newborn. After seeing a sign saying wait to be seated, we stood by the door a good 10 minutes before the bartender said to seat ourselves. She seemed to be the only person working at the time. Sat and waited another 10 to 15 minutes for her to come take the drink order. Had to find our own menus, never given any just asked what we wanted. 6 yr old accidentally dumped his drink. We cleaned it up and asked for something to put the ice in and a refill on it. Neither came, ice just continued to melt in a pile on the table making everything wet. Everyone's drinks were finished before food arrived. Never seen anyone to ask for more and it was over an hour waiting on the meal which was cold when arriving. Had to take our own cups to the bar and ask for a refill. Then the bartender argued with me over what we were drinking. Never received the beer cheese or ranch that was ordered when meal order was placed. Asked when food was delivered about it and told they'd bring it right out. After 15 minutes, I had to go to the bar and ask for it yet again and wait until it came. The already cold food that was delivered now was even colder. They cheese twister fries bacon was so burnt and hard it broke a tooth that now needs fixed. Had my girlfrend order us some food for when I woke up. The first item I opened I was shocked to see I received a side container of chili for 8 dollars! you couldnt even fill a standard size bowl in your house halfway with it. It literally feels like we were robbed from this place. Entire bill was 91 dollars my girlfriend had the crab cake sandwhich and told me there were shells inside of it. She said every single bite had shell inside of it. Both our meals were extremely bland and tasteless, I am not sure how you manage to make chili tasteless with that many onions.. and the beef was grainy similar to a schools cafeterias. My dad had a burger and potatoe salad and I am positive that if he didnt have chronic aphasia from having a stroke he would have said it wasnt good. We also noticed his burger was overcooked. The only thing that was remotely edible from this joke of a establishment was the sidewinder fries and sorry but at the price we are paying for everything it doesnt make up for the experience overall. I will not take a single dollar back to this place. Also a heads up to anyone we got the ahi tuna to share and it is 15 bucks. IT COMES WITH NOTHING AND IS 15 DOLLARS. I used Door Dash. After placing my order, I got a call from 1882. The staff member was pleasant. They did not have the coconut shrimp. She asked if I wanted to replace it with something else. I didn't. I got 5 honey BBQ wings & 5 peanut butter w/ jalapeño grape jelly wings. The BBQ wings were good. I couldn't eat the peanut butter ones because they just tasted like they had a peanut butter sauce on them. There was no other flavor of grape or jalapeño. I ate 2 and threw the rest out.
