New Kam Bo — Restaurant in Sayre

This is my go to Chinese restaurant in town. There are several other places, but this one, by far, is the best tasting.

There is a large menu that you can circle what you want, though the staff speaks English pretty well. I usually choose Kung Pao chicken or General Tso's.

There are large portions and the take out is placed in a microwaveable dish with a tight sealing lid - great to keep leftovers in and great to use at home after you finish the Chinese food inside.

The food is fresh, the service is pretty fast, but I don't mind waiting if I have to. It's not far from the hospital and the movie theater, so this restaurant stays pretty busy. Parking can sometimes be a little tricky as there is no parking lot and the parking spots around the restaurant are all metered during the day. I usually go in the evening, so there is no issue then.

Just placed a $60 takeout order, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The person taking the order over the phone was helpful, attentive, and patient while I detailed exactly what I wanted. The order included a large extra-spicy Szechuan chicken with mostly broccoli, an extra-large General Tso's chicken with a side of extra sauce, a large serving of steamed vegetables, and four spring rolls.

place is pretty banging. GREAT amount of food, really fast. my only downside is like you can't get spicy here... i've asked for super spicy, beyond spicy... i want to feel it in and out spicy... never spicy, not even a bit of heat unless im asking the wrong questions, i think they just use capsicum oil's and not like chili flakes, not sure tho honestly never asked cause i always forget. but again place has great tasting food, veg always tasted fresh, meats tasted fresh. the amount of sauce they give you is a little excessive but manageable. i just wish they used red chili flakes to make thing spicy. my level of heat is pretty high tho... i use a million scoville unit's of a hot sauce on my...
