McDonald's — Restaurant in Sayreville

If I could give 0 stars I would, not that it’s gonna deter anyone from picking them. I have 3 separate experiences of bad service. The first two times I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try them again, but it was a terrible idea each time lol.

Visit 1: We were parked for 2 medium fries. No big deal! We watched ~13 cars go through the drive thru with no issue. We figure they forgot about us so we call and state we’ve been waiting 10 minutes for our fries and just wanted to be sure they didn’t forget about us. The manager that answered the phone cut me off and said, “No, it’s been 5. They’re coming out now.” Naturally I was annoyed. It had in fact been 11 minutes since he wants to be technical. Fries were cold when we got them.

Visit 2: Girl taking my order starts taking it, then while i’m ordering cuts me off probably 4-5 times going “Excuse me?” Polite way to ask what I said, but I was getting slightly annoyed by the way she kept interrupting me. She did the same thing another 2 times at the window.

Visit 3: From my experience, this location has always been 24 hours. It was my cousins birthday so we decided last minute (11:30 pm) we wanted some nuggets and maybe ice cream to celebrate. We pulled up and were met by literally nothing. There were 5 people behind us also assuming they were open, so I pulled up to the window thinking maybe their headsets were dead or something. The general manager was wearing a headset that was turned on and refused to acknowledge anyone who pulled up to the speaker. There was nothing posted about a time change and they’ve been open the same hours (that I’m aware of) throughout the entire quarantine. This place is really different in the wrong way I do a job application in mc hired and in the store website I apply for morning they call me give me a job interview first they can't find My application I show them the screm shot because was not the first time they'd fo this to me afther get my information they tell me they only looking for pre closed and closed shifts I say thanks that was in july 2024 so I go to do another application and in the application I mark preclose they set a other interview for August when I get there the manager who do the interview not show up so they call him and give another day I go back on September 2024 I wait for 1:30 for him to be available he seat got my name and tell me they can't find my application again ask me what hours I was available to work I say pre close he look at me and say we only need people for the morning I tell him last time you saying you no need no one for morning they inly hiring prople who they know and only young people who they can't easy control only the manager past the 25 years gap everyone is young I believe I was discriminate for my age I have over 15 years experience in restaurant and my first job was MC DONALD'S FOR 11 YEARS THIS PLACE from one of the maneger call ALFREDO to the last maneger need a upgrade NEXT STEPS CALL. Corporate legal department and see what they day probably nothing but I Will call anyways avoid this MC DONALD'S the only good reviews they have here is for the employees who work there or family members no good reviews came from...

Check Check Check YOUR BAGS BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE PARKING LOT! 9 Times out of 10 ITS WRONG! And if you think because they made you pull over to wait for your order they would have it right... NOPE! Lol Think again! Then when you actually go all the way back to get what they've forgotten, You get a nice nasty attitude with people speaking to you like your the one who messed the order up. I in fact had the identical thing just happen & thankfully I checked my bag. So I parked my car & went to get the burger that I had already paid for, handed back to me literally half wrapped with the girls hand all over the other half of my burger & was greeted with "HERE"! I kid you not! Sad part is, it's far from the first time it happened. Extremely rude, immature, disrespectful kids working there. And the "Managers" if that's what you want to call them, ARE EVEN WORSE THAN THE OTHER KIDS THEIR IN CHARGE OF! BY FAR ONE OF THE WORST FAST FOOD PLACES IVE EVER BEEN TO! So my sincere advice to those who are reading this, GO TO A DIFFERENT FAST FOOD RESTAURANT! And if FAST food is a must for you, BK is in the same parking lot or Wendy's is about a mile from there as well! BOTH ARE BY FARRRR A BETTER OPTION FOR YOUR WALLET,STOMACH,& MOST IMPORTANTLY YOUR SANITY... JUST KEEP DRIVING PAST!
