It is so unfortunate to give such a low rating to such a good place. However, the service and management is terrible here. I have had two experiences in a row that are nothing short of horrible. The first experience was about a month ago. I placed a big order for takeout, when I got home half of my order was horrible. I called and spoke to Fernando (the manager), I told him that although half of my order was perfect, the other half was not right. I had ordered a basket of wedges and the cheese was all on one side of the box and they had given me a tiny container of chilli. The wings were supposed to have sauce on them and they were completely dry. The fries were hard. Instead of AT LEAST receiving an apology, he proceeded to blame me for how the food was, I offered him to send him pictures and take the food back to get new food and he did not accept that saying that the pictures would do nothing. I asked to speak to the GM, or at least get his name, and his literal answer was "If you want his name you could come to the store and his name is listed at the front." When I got the GM's name, Zach, he was very apologetic and even offered me a gift card for the experience.
I decided to go back. Yesterday I ordered some food again, when I got home I realized that the wedges were missing. I had also ordered chili con queso dip and it looked like I had received a quarter of the cup. I called, and once again I had to talk to Fernando. He told me they don't offer store credit and that we would just refund me the money for the wedges, and that the dip was what I got as a serving. Regarding the wedges, I told him I would just go and pick it up. When I went there he did not even acknowledge me and waited for someone else to help me. When I told them why I was there Fernando ended up having to help me. When I received the bag I asked him to let me see the wedges, to save myself the trip if they were anything like the ones from my previous visit. He had a horrible attitude and told me I did not need to see anything because he had packed them himself. I insisted and checked either way.
I am not sure how someone with such a lack of customer service skills could be a manager and be KEPT as a manager There is no reason why they can't be kind. We could live with the wrong order (bone-in instead of boneless) but we paid for the omitted wings and wanted our money back. We called immediately after we realized that the wings were missing. The manager said to come back and she would give us the missing wings. I explained to her that I was 15 minutes away at a customers location and that I chose not to. I asked for my money back. She said she would send out a coupon for a free order of wings. I gave her my address and expected the coupon to arrive in the next week. After a week or so went by and still no sign of a coupon, I called several more times. The manager would not show me the courtesy of getting on the phone. She told her employees to tell me that the coupon was mailed. After three weeks I decided to stop in and inquire in person. The manager still would not come out to speak with me and sent her assistant with some free coupons for the mini wings. He said they were for my troubles and assured me that the manager had sent me the full wing coupon. This was several months ago and I still haven't seen the coupon for the full wings to replace the order of wings they missed. So, I'm guessing that they gave me those mini wing coupons to shut me up. Problem is that we would have to go there several times to recoup the cost of our forgotten order of wings...WHICH AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN! All we wanted was our money back from the original order. We don't treat our customers that way and I don't expect anyone I do business with to treat me that way either! What's more disappointing is that our office is right down the street and we were using this B-dubs often for informal meetings with vendors and employees. Customer service was absolutely terrible. Nothing makes me more mad than when a business tricks or belittles their customers. One of their menus was labeled differently than the others and we were charged extra even though we didn’t intend to order it that way. We simply ordered what was stated on the menu. So when we got our check, we asked about the extra charge and our waitress gave us attitude saying “it’s only [extra amount]”, belittling us for complaining about a certain amount. WHO SAYS THAT?! Whether that’s a lot of money to us or not, we were upset about the inaccurate advertising and simply wanted to pay for what we ordered. We then talked to the manager who had zero level of compassion or friendliness. Without even knowing what the issue was, he was impatient and very defensive. If it’s “ONLY” such a small amount, why not just accept the misunderstanding and offer to take the extra charge off? Imagine this happened to a family that lives on a tighter budget.
