I love Five Guys but...Please. Please. Please read and believe all the negative reviews for this location. I just left this location on 9/25/25 and will never go back to this location. I haven't been to this location in over a year because the service is horrible.
I received a corporate email and decided to try to see if things are better since the last few visits. Well this location on Meachem has gotten worse and they don't seem to understand why no customers except online orders. I walked in and a guy was sweeping probably owner and refused to acknowledge me. No cashier. No customers. One guy cooking. Several guys working in back. Still nobody is talking to me. I finally tell cook I'm here to pick up my online order. He rolls his eyes and gives me a cup. I walk to pickup to get my food and see two orders ready. The cook proceeds to mumble and disrespect me again by saying go make your drink. I said excuse me? He said go make your drink. I said my food was ordered 45 minutes ago and still not ready. He gets smart with me again and says no not ready I told you to go make your drink and wait on fries.
Speechless but overall never seen anyone speak or be nice at this location. I get my drink and ask for a bag for my peanuts while still waiting on order. I was just ignored and as many many many reviews state this location refuses or doesn't like to give PAYING customers peanuts which is part of the brand & price. A guy walks in and was ignored just like me. The cook goes here. Here? Not Ms here's your food. What the heck is wrong with this location? Nasty & rude service and cheap location that doesn't want you getting peanuts. The owner has got to stop being cheap, hire better staff and bring class to this restaurant or it...
Read moreI've been going here for awhile, and while I've never understood the hype about their burgers, I have always enjoyed their fries. Today, I ordered my usual, a cheeseburger with lettuce, grilled onions, tomato, ketchup and mayo, and a little fries. Here are the issues, they charged me for a bacon burger, entered grilled mushrooms instead of grilled onions, and there were almost no fries in the bag. Even though it is a little fries, they typically still fill the bag at least halfway with fries - which justifies the $3.19 price tag. If you're going to give me as many fries as a medium fry at McDonalds, then you sure as heck had better not charge me over $3 - that's ridiculous. As for the burger, typically the person at the register reads back what you ordered, but today she did not. You get one star (not that I can give 0 anyway) because I failed to check my receipt until I discovered their error, so I'll take part of the blame. But for a place that doesn't have great customer service in the first place, screwing up the burger and skimping on the fries gives me zero reason to ever go back to this Five Guys, given how many quality choices there are in Schaumburg with good food AND good customer service. Seriously...
Read moreFive Guys has Fantastic burgers 🍔. They're Yummy 😋. Fresh amazing beef patties, yummy cheese and the fries are great but sometimes too salty. But definitely worth my money on a double cheese burger and a single cheese burger. You can order it as your typical American burger with ketchup, mustered, pickles onions raw or grilled and relish. You have many choices, including A1 Sauce on your burger. It a pretty clean restaurant but be warned there are peanuts everywhere when you walk in and they're complimentary at no cost to you. If you have peanut allergies do not enter or order their food for your safety or your families. Besides that - yes, it is well worth it. It's been 20+ years since I've ate a McDonald's burger, Burger King food, White Castles, and all those other fake chemical fake burgers that probably have given Americans cancer 😆. Eat natural grown grass fed food from healthy animals for good yummy burgers and live well my fellow...
