Sleep Number — Hotel in Schaumburg Township

I really need to replace my bed! On the recommendation of a friend I decided to try out a Sleep Number. As the Schaumburg store in Woodfield Mall is near my home that was the location I chose.

I actually visited twice over the course of a couple of days. The first visit was to get an idea if this was worth considering. Let me tell you, once you lay in one of these beds there are two choices - you either buy one or you are forever disappointed in whatever you end up buying.

I had the sales associate start me in the middle of the comfort range and then step me up the next levels to compare. While the mid -range was nice, the next level up was pure heaven! I was ready to set up housekeeping right in the store.

My second visit was to actually make the purchase and determine my actual Sleep Number. This could have all been done in one visit, but I personally like to think things over to avoid impulse buys. The process to determine the settings took about 30 minutes. This was done on a different bed that is hooked up to a computer with sensors that determine where the stress in your body is showing up. The setting - really the firmness of the mattress - is reduced until you tell the associate that you feel no discomfort. And you can see the stressed areas of your body becoming unstressed while this occurs. I felt almost weightless when this was done. And this wasn't even the comfort level of the mattress I had chosen! I moved back to that bed and had it set to my individual number.

Life will never be the same once my new bed arrives.

What keeps this review from being 5 stars? I'll tell you. Each mattress is constructed to order. And that takes time. In this case the lead time is about 1.5 weeks. Most bed stores are able to deliver within 1-2 days. I have to defer the glorious feeling of sleeping in that bed for another full week as I write this. If delivery time could have been shortened this would have earned a full 5 stars.

And just a reality check for you - these beds are a bit pricey. Don't walk in expecting the purchase price to be the same as regular inner spring or memory foam mattresses. But I tried all of those and, let me tell you, once you experience Sleep Number there is...

I work next door to the Schaumburg Sleep Number and work within the health and wellness industry. I must say as of lately my sleep patterns have been off. Those patters and non-rejuvenated sleepless nights are OVER! Thank you to the Staff , both Mary and Angelique are amazing!!!

I came in to just take a look on my break and ask a few questions. First off, amazingly clean and beautiful location. I was welcomed by the staff Mary and Angelique. After some time my concern was my wife, whether one she would like the comfort, two, her liking the temperature as I sleep very hot. That was no problem as the bed has sleep numbers best technology and not only can we select her comfort and my settings for cooling, but we can select my wife’s temperature as well.

Now I’m a crazy man at times but not a crazy husband. I had my wife come in to try the bed and purposely set the temperature and sleep number setting to my comfort and my wife immediately said no. Knowing this would happen Mary set the mattress to my wife’s settings which entirely made her love it. Were a week in on our Climate Cool 360 Flex Top King Mattress and I must say, Sleep Number Sleep is not only what you want and expect from them but amazingly POWERFUL!

I feel so rejuvenated and cannot thank you both Mary and Angelique!

I walked in with my girlfriend this past Sunday honestly we were just window shopping. We laid on the bed they had in store and a couple minutes in Tony comes up and just starts talking about the bed. Tony did a super fantastic job at showing us the beds and also was just great to talk to. He took my girlfriend and I around the store showing us the different beds and all that good stuff. We laughed and almost cried together haha but this guy really sold the beds. I had been saving up for a bed and after seeing and trying the products I could see and test all the cool features the beds had. Their products are amazing! And i want to say thanks to Tony for just being a wonderful person and making us laugh. We went home and talked about how awesome that experience was he made our day.
