I'm a foodie so I hate making poor food choices and this evening was incredibly disappointing. I can't understand how people here rated the food here so high; because tonight I received the saltiest stuffed Chicago style pizza I ever had the misfortune of ordering. I'm pretty upset here especially because I had high hopes based on most of these reviews and my spinach pizza is just super salty with way too much cheese, a soggy bottom crust and barely any spinach! I feel cheated because after spending $27 including a tip and delivery fee I couldn't even finish one piece because there's no spice or balance of ingredients. The man who took my order didn't offer me any spices like red pepper flakes or utensils; instead he just kept asking me if I wanted to order more food. I spent a grand total of $27 for rootbeer and a super salty deep dish pizza with way too much cheese and very minimal amounts of spinach. When my delivery person arrived I was shocked to find out there were no utensils, no paper plates, no pepper packets and no napkins. I'm actually never going to order from here again because if they knew I was staying at a hotel in Schaumburg then they should have known there are no plates here and no forks. I called him back to give him my feedback and he was absolutely unapologetic for being neglectful. If a guest at a hotel orders pizza or food then it's only polite to include plates, forks and napkins. My dog will most definitely enjoy pizza this week because she doesn't have a fussy palate; she loves everything I offer her. However I'm a foodie; which means food is very important to me and not just the taste but the presentation. If you're a picky eater like me you're going to be disappointed with the lack of flavor here. The portions are astronomical and I ordered a small; but what's sad is the pizza isn't delicious and now I have too many leftovers. I hate wasting food so I'll probably buy more spinach at the grocery store and add spices to this lackluster pizza. It's depressing when you really crave a good pizza and you receive just salty cheese without a nice balance of sauce or any other ingredient. I regret my decision to give this place a chance. One more mistake that was made is the pizza came to me pre cut. If you cut a pizza in slices by the time it arrives the crust gets extremely soggy. Due to the fact that I order all the time, I have a previous note listed for delivery that reads: please leave food on back stairs and close gate behind you. The drivers usually knock on the door, ring the door bell or text to let me know the food is there. This particular night it was raining- so common sense would be to for sure alert the patron that you are leaving the food in the rain- however I wasnāt alerted. I called into the restaurant as the order was taking a while to get to me- Nick told me he was waiting on a driver to get back to deliver. Finally the rain was coming down so bad I decided just to double check again- and there was my food on the back stairs in the rain- bag soak wet- and food soak and wet-I couldnāt eat anything. I called the restaurant and got Nick again who told me I would have to wait until after the manager comes in to see if he would replace my food. I informed him- I could bring the entire untouched soaked food back to the restaurant to be replaced however he refused and told me to wait until a night manager and the night delivery team would be in so he can get to the bottom of things. The bottom of things is if you have a patron that has been ordering from you for over five years- if they canāt eat their food because itās soak and wet- you replace it. THIS IS EXTREMELY BAD FOR BUSINESS AND I WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN- they have lost a very valuable customer
So an update- I called in and spoke with a night manger who said he wasnāt the night manager that worked last night so I had to speak with another night manager that would be in after 5pm. After my 3rd call to fix this issue- I spoke with Todd- who was rude as hell and even addressed the review I left- and said I should have addressed the issue last night not this morning, and there was nothing that he could do. Very as business. If your looking for good rib and good customer service try Anytime pub. The Rosstti pizza on golf rd in Schaumburg has the best pizza hands down. Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst of all Mugās is a place I loved to order from. Iāve been eating at Mugās for 30 years. It all started at Mugaveroās in Des Plaines. My go to place especially for ribs. When I moved to Streamwood I was thrilled when they opened up a Mugās in Schaumburg. Was able to get my favorite ribs fairly close. Was great for years. I am very upset now. I just ordered two full slab dinners from them. The last two times I ordered the ribs were very burnt and tough. I couldnāt eat my meal, it sucks when you pay and the food is horrible. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt as things can happen. When I called today I informed them that the last two times my ribs were burnt and tough not edible. I asked the guy to please make sure that they are done right. He said āIāll see what I can doā he should have said āIāll make sure we get it right.ā Pick up my food take it home. Guess what ribs are burnt, overcooked and tough. Not happy at all. I will not be going back. I specifically asked when I ordered to please not let this happen, guy must have not cared. So basically from my last 3 orders Iām out about $160 for ribs that were burnt, tough and not edible. My suggestion is if you decide to order from here especially the ribs have them open it in front of you and check them. Or stay away from this location. DP and Elk Grove have never screwed me. I am usually patient and forgiving Iāve worked in the food industry. 3 times in a row and let them know the issue and it wasnāt fixed is unacceptable.
