I don't even know where to start. We learned our lesson after we gave the Schererville Domino's a second chance. About 6 months ago we ordered 3 or 4 pizza's I believe and it took over 2 hours to be delivered and they arrived cold, not even warm. Well over this past weekend we decided it had been awhile and placed an online order (the method we always used for years) for 3 pizza's and what a surprise it again took 2 hours to be delivered! This time my husband called 3 times to find out if we were even getting the food and he found out that when you call the number they give you in the email confirmation it actually goes to an answering service, not your local store. Well all 3 different phone calls ended up with an employee not being able to find our order even though we got the confirmation email and text messages. The answering service tried contacting our local store and told my husband that nobody was answering the phone. After 2 hours waiting we did receive our pizzas that were of course cold. But hey you get what you pay for. We will spend the extra and always order from Rosati's or Giordano's which we've never had a problem with. Times are very hard right now and I don't want to sound like a "Karen" but waiting 2 hours the last two times we've ordered was enough to lose our business for good. I'm sure other locations are maybe great, but Schererville definitely...
Read moreThis place is terrible to say the least. I just ordered my pizza and garlic knots from there a little bit ago. I went there to go pick it up and on my pizza I had ordered for them to put garlic on the crust. My crust is so dry and my teeth almost broke when I try to bite into it When I attempted to eat my garlic knots with my kids one of them almost threw up because the dough was not cooked at all he ended up getting very sick and I had to take him to urgent care. My husband also ate the garlic bites and he was on the toilet for hours. I attempted to call this franchise and of course no one answers and I was on the phone for an hour waiting for someone to pick up the call. I’ve heard nothing but bad things about this place after looking at the reviews after I had this encounter This is ridiculous. I don’t know how you let people run a restaurant like this especially a nationwide known establishment I am 100% never coming back here and I would advise you all to go to any other pizza place near this area. They are 1 million times better I would not wish upon my first enemy to go to this pizza place. It is that terrible matter fact I wouldn’t wish anybody and everybody on this planet to drive to this establishment. I will drive an hour to get a pizza at a different place then go to this crappy place. Have a good night. I wish I could read it -1,000,000 stars but of...
Read moreThey do not honor their pizza bag deal, where, for each pizza bag purchased (for keeping your own pizzas warm when picking up a carryout), you recieve a free 2-liter. We own two pizza bags, as we usually order 3-4 pizzas on each visit, and thus, should have recieved two 2-liters, but this location doesn't honor their own policy.
All the CSRs we encountered were friendly, displayed a willingness to help and working at an efficient, yet quick, pace, save for one CSR, who did not display any of these qualities and was in fact, rude, when presenting me with my order, which sat for 6 minutes while he decided to stand around. He was on the phone when I entered and remained there for over 15 minutes, never once displaying an urgency to do other tasks. He neither once welcomed us to Domino's nor assisted his co-workers, making them all have to work harder to make up for his sluggish performance.
The CSR who took my payment was nothing, but friendly and hard working, displaying a genuine smile, all while having to multitask by taking the pizzas out of the oven, then come around to the other side to make additional boxes and apply order stickers, take payment from carryout customers and apologize for our wait.
He, as well as the female pizza preparer, were terrific CSRs and should be commended for working twice as hard to make up for others...
