Bush's Chicken — Restaurant in Schertz

Absolute worst service I have ever received at a fast food restaurant. I am an Uber Driver and occasionally driver Uber Eats. I waited 45 mins for an 2 simultaneous orders. All while 8 vehicles in the drive thru were served and at least 6 dine in customers were served. Also, another food delivery driver who came in 15 mins after I was there waiting was served and he left. I said something about the wait time and that driver barked back at me that I had 2 orders and I needed to shut up. Then the guy behind the counter said "we are short staffed, Bro". I replied to him to address me as "sir" and not "bro". He then stared me down like he was going to come from behind the counter. The manager also told me that they were short staffed. (There were 5 employees and the manager there). I told her that I work by delivery and she worked by the hour. Me waiting was costing me precious time and money. She replied to me to "fill out an application and come work there by the hour. This was not her problem". I soon there after received the deliveries and I promptly left. I DO NOT recommend this...

What To Order: Chicken Strips or Fried Chicken Livers

I've been eating at this location for a few years now. While I'm not a big fan of chicken this place has really good chicken strips and fried chicken livers.

Service at this location has been consistently excellent. Staff is friendly, greeting you when you enter and exit. My food has always been good, all my orders have been correct. Customer service at this location seems to be a step above many of the others locally.

If I ask for fresh cooked livers, they always inform me there will be an additional few minute wait, and prepare them for me. I personally prefer them when they first come out of the fryer. They are mushy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. They tend to toughen up after they sit even 15 minutes.

I've used both the drive thru and the inside dining multiple times and never had any problems with either. Serving sizes here are always good, ranging from large to very large.

My hubby and I really enjoy Bush's chicken but we were a bit disappointed with this location. The young lady who took our order barely spoke to us, she said "Order?". When we had placed our food order she held out her hand, so my husband handed her our credit card. When she brought our food and card back she didn't speak at all. Although I know that Bush's policy is for the employees to write down the order, she did not. But apparently she has a good memory as our order was 100% correct. We live less than 10 minutes away but our food was completely room temperature when we arrived home. I have a microwave so warming the food is not an issue but, I was a bit concerned about how the food is handled. Do they just leave it sitting on a counter instead of a warming tray? We didn't get sick so, guess it was handled at least somewhat properly. Not sure if we'll go back to this location or not. Perhaps this was just a fluke so maybe we'll give it some time and try it again a few months or so from now. Photo is of the policies posted above...
