First and foremost, the cashier today is NOT at fault for his manager and possible shift leader getting this review. The cashier was great. The managements lack of common courtesy is what's to blame for this review. Hey at the end of the day, if I, as a customer can be outgoing, greet and smile to you, this shouldn't even be a second thought with you. Management is leading by example. If you expect your employees to do it, so should you. You are never so important that you can ignore your customers!
●●●UPDATE: 1 ☆ given●●● 8/28/18 - I'm done driving to this location. The service is so hit and miss here. 430pm on 8/28/18 im leaving and need a to go container. The manager and one of his female employees(possibly a shift leader)walk in and see 4 of us waiting at the counter behind an indecisive customer. The manager goes behind the counter and just watches the cashier wait on a customer and listen to his spill to her, I'm sure because the manager is micromanaging everyone. The manager makes eye contact with me and just ignores me, the woman that came in with him could be a shift leader of sorts, does the exact same thing with me and then acts as though its just fine to not even greet, acknowledge or ask, sir, were you waiting to order? If I say yes, you say, your cashier will get you taken care of. Just acknowledging me would have avoided this review and loss of customers. I would have said hey can I bother you for a to go container....? And I would have been on the road instead of updating my review in my truck in your parking lot.
●●●UPDATE: 1 ☆ given●●● 5/30/18 - Ill give the chicken and ambiance 5☆ but the girl at the register today (Giselle) in the dine in has little to no personality. Even the cashiers at walmart have more courtesy.
If you walk up and see one register blocked by a bunch of pamphlets and stuff, you assume you'll be at the register thats all clear.... Think again. Im waiting and the girl not only doesnt greet me but lets me stand at the other register looking like an idiot and doesnt even say sir I can wait on you down here.... Cane's, please retrain this girl. This is my third time with the same lackluster service from her. I drive past kfc, churchs and Bush's chicken in my neighborhood to come to Cane's 8.7mls. away to enjoy your restaurant. Simple communication goes a long way still. Weds, May 30th @230pm. I'll change this to 5☆ when this has...
Read moreThe workers were amazing—friendly and efficient—but the manager was another story. On 6/10/24 approximately 9:30-9:45PM, I witnessed the manager raising their voice loudly at an employee in front of customers, which was very unprofessional and made the atmosphere of the store uncomfortable.
This is not the kind of environment I expect when dining out, especially at a place that prides itself on customer service. The employee seemed visibly upset and distressed, which only added to the tension. It's absolutely unacceptable for a manager to behave this way in front of customers and staff.
Corporate or upper management needs to step in immediately. This manager clearly lacks the skills needed to handle stress and conflicts appropriately. I strongly suggest corporate or upper management should look into possibly anger management classes, or consider providing the manager with training on handling minor conflicts better.
No one should be subjected to such a hostile and demeaning environment, whether they're an employee or a customer. I hope this issue is addressed soon because the staff deserves better leadership.
Until this issue is addressed, I will not be returning to this location. I hope Raising Cane's takes this matter seriously and ensures that such behavior is...
Read moreDeciding whether to go to Cane’s is easy if you think about it. You either feel like chicken fingers or you don’t. And this being my first visit I was puzzled how fingers can be the chain’s staple. Well, they’re awesome, that’s how!
These are essentially perfectly breaded, small pieces of chicken. All white meat mind you, but actual meat. This isn’t processed chicken or nuggets but rather breast meat and tenders. And big fingers at that. I ordered the Caniac combo with 6 fingers, 2 dips, crinkle cut fries, creamy coleslaw, and Texas toast. All incredibly delicious and without a doubt the best and most substantial chicken fingers I’ve ever had.
The dipping sauce is an interesting combination of common dips you might get elsewhere. I’d say the closest comparison is a combination of Buffalo chicken and ranch from Wendy’s but Cane’s is even broader than that. Not spicy but with a wide mix of flavors. It’s an ideal dip.
The decor is modern and clean with new, upbeat music playing. The staff is welcoming and VERY service oriented. All in all THIS is how fast food should be done whether it’s burgers, pizza… or chicken...
