Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Scotch Plains

Great place for Italian ice, however, service was super slow. waited for about 15 min in front after giving the order. I guess probably rush time besides that other items were also great concrete and brownie sundae with great flavor though. I will recommend this and absolutely will go back again to try different flavors of Italian ice. They use fresh fruit daily for their Italian ice. parking is super congested where we were sitting cars were also passing by. I love Rita's especially their hot chocolate fudge over vanilla custard. Most locations are very generous with the helping of fudge but at this paticular outlet, there is only one girl working and she is awfully grumpy and stingy with the toppings. I have visited few times (hoping there might be someone else on call) since this is the only Rita's on my way home and asked for more fudge only to hear that I would have to pay extra. I end up paying the same amount for half the amount of toppings! Nevertheless I wont be visiting this...

This location is my Favorite Rita's of them all. I often drive down Terrill Road and each time that I do I place a call to the location and ask the employee "what flavors are available today" . they alway respond " what flavor are you looking for". and are always friendly and pleasant. Most of all I love that if my flavor is not available that day they always share with me when my flavor will most likely be on the menu. NO OTHER LOCATION THAT I VISIT DOES THAT and Im a Delivery Guy that drives past many Rita's...
