Omg. THE. BEST. VEGAN. BAKERY. EVER. The vegan cakes and the key lime pie are phenomenal. The best I’ve ever had. You’d never know the cakes were vegan. Unfortunately, I’m out of town, so I stocked up before I left because you can buy cake by the slice. I had a piece of their German Chocolate (which is always vegan), strawberry cake, and key lime pie. Lastly, we bought a whole chocolate raspberry cake for my birthday and every single one was delicious. The raspberry cake lasted 2 weeks in the fridge and the last piece was as good as the first. The raspberry layer did absorb into the cake as time went on and so I didn’t really taste it on pieces I ate toward the end of that 2 weeks but it didn’t matter whatsoever, it was still one of the best cakes I’ve ever eaten - vegan or regular. I highly recommend adding fresh raspberries to the top of the chocolate raspberry cake and lime zest on top of the key lime pie. The key lime pie was mouthwatering and adding zest brought even more lime flavor. I wished I’d bought a whole pie. I only got a bite of the strawberry cake but it was so moist and the strawberry flavor was just right. Lastly, the German chocolate cake was one of the best I’ve ever had. The side of the cake has a layer of some kind of crumbled/crushed nut… hazelnut maybe? It was delicious. Honestly, you will not be disappointment getting a cake from here. I have an egg allergy and had zero issues so it seems they take cross contamination seriously. My only disappointment is that it’s so far from me in Florida, which at least I guess is good for...

Ordered a black bean burger and a slice of vegan cake. Recieved the first black bean burger with non vegan cheese they fixed it, but the second one had mayonnaise and chips on it 😩 had to send it back again! Mind you I’m very hungry and to say they took so dern long when I finally received the dern burger

it had more BREADCRUMBS than d* black beans 😑 should’ve been called a bread bean burger. Finally taken a bite it was THE MODT TASTLESS CRAP IVE EVER TASTED!!! I just wanted something to fill my belly for that yummy chocolate vegan cake but never again. I’m sticking to my other spot. And only visiting this bakery for cake. My husband’s pulled pork sandwich was just as tasteless yet edible.

I requested the refund for my black bean burger and left.

Whoever they have cooking back there need to season this food man. At least with salt and pepper the only thing with flavor was the cake 🤦🏾‍♀️ already bad enough prices are high $11 for that prison bread bean burger! 😩

Do NOT get a custom cake from these people!!! I physically went into their store to place an order for a birthday cake and was told I was within the time frame, which was one month out. The staff even assisted me with placing the order. Shortly thereafter, I received an email message from Ashley Nelson that they require 3-6 months notice. She ended up referring me to Royal Cake Studio who led me to believe they would take care of me, but that fell completely through. I literally sent everything to Abbi at Royal Cake Studio and ended up hearing nothing from her. I honestly believe this was a deceitful attempt coordinated by both Ashley and Abbi to make me believe they would take care of me, when their real intent was not to. Save yourself a headache folks. Go with a completely different baker for any custom cakes. I ended up using Farah Artis who is an AMAZING cake artist!! She even came to my event and cut the cake for my guests and all 100+ guests loved her cake!! For years, I was a regular at Southern Sweets Bakery. I can assure you, I won't be back.
