This place has been pretty much the same since I was a kid. Which is nice in some ways. Food is almost always great. Options are pretty standard. Home cut fries are awesome. Also Country Fried Steak is huge! Usually plenty of seating. Service is a bit different as you use a tray and get drinks at the start of the line. Then pick up your food from the heat lamps when they call your number. There is a back "fine" dining area for larger parties or events. Also you can get an ice cream cone from a self service machine which costs one quarter per cone. Though they only have vanilla now. Parking is decent but can fill up quickly.

Came here on a recommendation from one of these scoutmasters who was leading our troop, he knew the owner and actually needed to get keys to our property where we were going to be camping. He highly recommended the chicken fried steak and it did not disappoint, the portion itself was huge, taking up almost the entirety of our ovular plates. The layout of the restaurant is a little confusing for newcomers, you basically get in line tell him what you want eventually and then order your salad etc, kind of like a cafeteria but still a little non-intuitive. Nevertheless the food was really good.

We weren't really impressed with this restaurant. Four of us ordered the steak and shrimp meal. They were out of baked potatoes. We waited for a considerable amount of time before our number was called. Every one of our steaks was ordered medium and every one came back well done. While it had a good flavor, the steak was really dry and tough. While a little disappointing, I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt that they are just having a bad night. I have had a good meal here before, but they just missed the mark tonight.

Upon my first visit to the Prime Cut Meat Market I took notice of the decor. I enjoyed looking at the old tools displayed on the walls. As you approach the counter you will find the menu with prices. The initial staff was very friendly and helpful. No one told me to take a tray as you go down the line before the register. You will need the tray to help carry drinks and salads to your table or booth. Meals are reasonably priced and served fairly quick. Food was satisfactory. Some staff didn't seem friendly. Wish someone went around to refill drinks. You have to go back up to the register which can be far from your seat. Overall a good experience in a clean and quiet restaurant. I will...

Walked in and saw the place was busy. Good sign for a long existing restaurant. The person who took my order was nice and carried on a great conversation and made some good recommendations. Ordered, found a seat, my number was called and I got my food. Portion was huge. Got a steak and shrimp meal with a loaded baked potato. My wife had a chicken fried steak with a baked potato. Steak was thin since it came with shrimp. Cooked perfect med rare. If you want a bigger steak then don't order with the shrimp. Chicken fried was fresh and hand pounded. Price was a bit much but worth it for a dinner for two. I give a 4 star only because of decor. Little outdated. Booths are small too....

People only go to this place because it's basically the only "steakhouse" in town. Steaks were tough and overcooked. Shrimp was a joke. Salad was white iceberg lettuce topped with watered-down dressing with stale bread croutons. The baked potato was the only redeeming feature on the plate. The restaurant was uncomfortably warm as they appeared to not be utilizing the air conditioner in the 95 weather. Luckily, the place was empty, so we could sit underneath a ceiling fan. Employee working the counter was very inexperienced. Overall, it was a "bad dining experience." If you want a steak, check out the subpar Applebee's down the road...
