Upon my first visit to the Prime Cut Meat Market I took notice of the decor. I enjoyed looking at the old tools displayed on the walls. As you approach the counter you will find the menu with prices. The initial staff was very friendly and helpful. No one told me to take a tray as you go down the line before the register. You will need the tray to help carry drinks and salads to your table or booth. Meals are reasonably priced and served fairly quick. Food was satisfactory. Some staff didn't seem friendly. Wish someone went around to refill drinks. You have to go back up to the register which can be far from your seat. Overall a good experience in a clean and quiet restaurant. I will...
Read moreWalked in and saw the place was busy. Good sign for a long existing restaurant. The person who took my order was nice and carried on a great conversation and made some good recommendations. Ordered, found a seat, my number was called and I got my food. Portion was huge. Got a steak and shrimp meal with a loaded baked potato. My wife had a chicken fried steak with a baked potato. Steak was thin since it came with shrimp. Cooked perfect med rare. If you want a bigger steak then don't order with the shrimp. Chicken fried was fresh and hand pounded. Price was a bit much but worth it for a dinner for two. I give a 4 star only because of decor. Little outdated. Booths are small too....
Read morePeople only go to this place because it's basically the only "steakhouse" in town. Steaks were tough and overcooked. Shrimp was a joke. Salad was white iceberg lettuce topped with watered-down dressing with stale bread croutons. The baked potato was the only redeeming feature on the plate. The restaurant was uncomfortably warm as they appeared to not be utilizing the air conditioner in the 95 weather. Luckily, the place was empty, so we could sit underneath a ceiling fan. Employee working the counter was very inexperienced. Overall, it was a "bad dining experience." If you want a steak, check out the subpar Applebee's down the road...
