Me & my buddies stopped in after an evening on the river fishing & was greeted by some smiling happy ladies telling us to sit where we wanted & was brought menus as soon as we sat down, our server introduced herself as Edy & got our drink orders & mentioned some good appetizers to start us off with & we all thought it'd take longer cause they were pretty busy at the time but she was back with fresh, hot fried pickles & pretzel bites, she then took our orders after many questions were answered, it was our first time dining at this Jefferson's & she was very knowledgeable & helpful & our food was out before we finished our appetizers & she never let our drinks get low & was super attentive even though she seemed to have more tables than some of the others, we could definitely tell she knew how to do her job or has been doing it awhile & seemed to really enjoy it & even had time to cut up with us & help other tables, all the servers & bartenders worked as a team, we were offered dessert but was too full from the tasty burgers & wings we had, only complaint was that they need more bathroom stalls but other than that it was a great experience & we all left saying we'd found our new eating joint for our fishing trips & our new favorite server we'll be asking for, all in all I'd highly recommend this Jefferson's over fort paynes any day!!!! Only 2 I've...
Read moreI probably should wait to give a review after trying more selections but honestly I am not going back.
I am a burger guy, I like trying the best burger joints from town to town and someone recommended Jefferson's so I tried it. If it was the SAME PRICE as jack's down the street I would rather have had a jack's burger or burger king, and I never eat fast food. The burger was 15$ with fries, I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. It's really bad when the best thing you can mention about the burger is the bun. The patty was bland but a moderate size, it wasn't like school cafeteria size but very well could have been a frozen patty. The vegetables they garnished with were pathetic, I wish I had taken a picture. The tomato was sliced so thin it literally folded onto itself, and it came with 2 tiny slithers of onion. The bacon was flimsy, limp and cheap and the fries were standard, frozen crinkle fries that they didn't even add seasoning to. Super poor fries, jack's are 100-1 better.
I tend to only write these reviews when I am extremely disappointed, and for 15$ I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Go to KC's close by, and there is a gas station way out in the country but close to here that's much better AND cheaper. Guess I should have got something else, if you're after a burger give this...
Read moreFairly busy Friday night. Not super crowded , we sit down and order no drinks except for waters, then a cheese fry appetizer. I ordered grilled chicken with sweet potato fries and a side salad. My husband ordered double dipped wings. Then we sit and wait, and wait, and wait.. 4 tables around us that sat down much after us and ordered after us all got their food fairly quickly. So we wait, and wait, figuring surely the appetizer and my side salad would show up. Well we were wrong. Finally after involving management our food showed up. Appetizer showed up at the same as our food and no side salad for me. And no silverware. When asked for silverware the waiter “Payton” reluctantly rolled his eyes and got it for us. I then asked about my salad and I said no thank you. I didn’t want to eat a salad as my dessert course. Food tasted decent. My husbands wings we wrong and so was my chicken as far as giving us what we ordered, but after waiting 45+ minutes for Pretty simple food we would have eaten anything. Management was kind and discounted some of our food but our server was rude. The food was decent and I’ve heard great things about the place but honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve...
