Ahipoki Bowl Scottsdale — Restaurant in Scottsdale

My first poke bowl was this place. I like mainstream sushi but didn't really think I would be able to do straight raw fish so these guys let me sample their top sellers and right away I was surprised that I could eat it and willing to get a bowl and try it out with all of the other ingredients. They really hooked me up with my first bowl and loaded it up. The rice was sticky which I liked and getting fresh avocado and lots of sesame seeds on my bowl made it that much better. Their house dressing is also very good! I love this place and would definitely recommend buuuuut...

every visit after my very first visit has not been as enjoyable because my first bowl was loaded and delicious so that was my standard for this place and I have been getting less and less every time and getting a big bowl with avocado (x2 sometimes) plus yellow tail can start to get pricey and so getting less and less every time makes me go less often now.

Also, if you sign up with your email you are suppose to get a coupon code which I never received nor has any of my friends and I have tried 2 of my other emails and I never seem to get the coupon they keep promising.

I hope my portions will start to be as and loaded as my first visit and I hope management takes the time to read these reviews and address issues like the email promo deals so I can continue to rated this place 5 stars. Looking forward to what the future can hold Ahipoki bowl don't...

This place has been amazing to me as far as quality and service, since I've been coming here in March of 2023 (I started working right next door) so I'm often here on my lunch break and the food is always fresh and customer service was outstanding..until today, I go in and this dark haired young lady (who is apparently new) bc I never saw her, said to me that I can't order the kid bowl as I told her what I wanted and w a kurt tone that was underlying passive aggressive, she looked me when I said that I always have ordered it since I started coming here (I don't like to waste food so when I know I won't finish the larger portion , I would always come in for a kids bowl- I could see if I was declined the first time....but I come in about once or twice a month for kids bowl and than her response was (in front of other customers behind me) 'oh , she was fired'. ...which lacks professionalism on every level for one. For two, you need to go back to the ppl you had working there who were more pleasant, honest, tactful and w integrity...which she...

Really disappointed with the bowl I received from here from GurbHub. Didn’t follow either of my special instructions, and the portions are all crazy.. a HUGE amount of rice, barely any lettuce and a measly 12 edamame beans. Oh, and barely any dressing. One side of dressing is not enough for a large bowl, and I asked for extra and didn’t get it... And to top it off, the rice is dry and tastes like it’s been in the warmer a while, which wouldn’t be a problem if there had been enough dressing. This is the most thrown together thing I’ve ever seen and probably the worst bowl I’ve gotten from this place. And trust me, I eat at the other location a lot. I’d go to that one if I were you.

UPDATE: Tried to give this location another chance as I moved and it’s the only one that will deliver to me. I’m now convinced they do the opposite of what the special instructions are. I asked for a little rice and received almost a full container. What is this...
