Wow!! I haven’t written a review for anywhere before, but this restaurant deserves it. This place is truly a hidden jem. Ordered for delivery and while the website said it would take 45 minutes, I think I got it in about 25! Everything arrived hot and ready to eat! The containers were also packed full! I ordered the wonton soup and the vegetable lo mein. The wonton soup was so delicious. The filling was so flavorful and the wontons were cooked perfectly. Not soggy at all. The broth perfectly balanced it out too. It was light and went great with the flavorful wontons. The vegetable lo mein was also wonderful. Noodles were perfectly cooked and the vegetables weren’t soggy. They still had a nice bite, but weren’t over cooked to be soft. There was also a great variety of vegetables. The sauce was amazing. Not too salty and not too overpowering. I can’t wait to try more from them again! I will 100% be reordering their...
Read moreYummy Yummy is a misnomer for sure. The food is not. I ordered Kung-po chicken and my husband had a vegetable delight. The "chicken" in my dish looked like, had the texture of and tasted like chicken skin. It was rubbery, had the thickness of skin, a fatty bite, and was flavorless. If that was chicken I guarantee that bird was caged and couldn't move for most of its short life as it had no muscle. I fished out all the "skin." The dish was listed as "hot and spicey," but again was bland and flavorless. The fried rice was not fried. This is a low rent, low budget, questionable origin of food operation and I cannot recommend it. It would have been nice to have a good neighborhood Chinese restaurant, but this deal is not real. Having said that, the vegetables ,which were chopped in larger pieces, appeared to be fresh, but...
Read moreWonton soup was good, but they only give very bendy plasticware to even eat-in customers. I made a mess trying to cut up wonton too big for my mouth and too heavy for the bendy fork, spoon, and butter knife. I did not like the fried rice that came with the General Tsao chicken. There is no way to cut the crispy chicken chunks up to eat without making a complete mess with the bendy utensils. I gave up and left the plate. The young lady at the front that eventually took my order and served my food had ear buds in and was talking constantly to someone in another language over her phone I guess ( never saw the device - she just kept rambling on). The plastic utensils were not given to me with my food. When I asked for utensils, she pointed to an open container at the front that we veryone reaches into to get unwrapped and useless...
